Nice views, by the forest. Sometimes deers are coming near the place. You can do your laundry at the place. Private parking. Indoors is very narrow (5 spots), but there is also an outdoor parking (3 spots).

We booked the place for its swimming pool, but it is nothing like in the pictures. It is a very small, baby's pool. Toilet seat is not fixed and keeps moving. Water current in the shower is very low. Curtains are transparent, therefore lots of light in the room very early in the morning (summer). Breakfast was good, however, it was served between 8:00-10:00, and if you came at 8:15, you probably won't have a place to sit. Also, mostly the food is not refilled, so if you came later in order to have a sit after all, many things are already gone. Communication with the owner was ok. She spoke a little English and a little German.

Google maps were guiding us via pedestrian streets, I would expect some guidance from the host. Staff does not speak English. It is not a convenient location for skiing.

We stayed in a lovely family studio with big beds and a very useful kitchenette. Radana was very helpful on-site. We really appreciated the ski equipment drying room. The garage deserves special mention as it not only kept our electric car free of the heavy snow, but we were able to charge it there at a very reasonable rate agreed with the owner. You can also ski down to both Medvedin and Svaty Petr from Pension Silva. getting back up on foot is a bit of a challenge, though.

Be aware that Pension Silva is up on the side of a rather steep hill. if you come by car in winter you really need snow chains.

The kindness of the host, the views and the breakfast

Very good location with a nice view to the valley and surrounding mountains. Perfect staff whom you can ask anything anytime. Very friendly to children (nice facilities for them). I strongly recommend the stay there and am planning to come with my family again.

The service in SILVA is exceptional. We are thankful for helping with the baby issue.

Very good breakfast, very friendly host, good location with beautiful view on city center and the slopes of Medvedin, facilities to store your skies and if available you get a parking in the garage.
