Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super, mitten im Zentrum von Passau, mit vielen Bars, Geschäften und Restaurants außenrum. Der Check-In über den Türcode hat ganz reibungslos geklappt. Das Zimmer an sich war ganz hübsch und recht gemütlich.
Die Sauberkeit im Bad hat leider absolut zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Insgesamt waren die (Gemeinschafts-) Bäder relativ veraltet und haben eher an eine Jugendherberge erinnert, was ich für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt finde. Inwieweit das Hotel seinem künstlerischen Anspruch - immerhin steckt "Art" ja schon im Namen - gerecht werden wollte, konnte ich leider zumindest in unserem (Doppel-) Zimmer nicht nachvollziehen. Zudem waren die Zimmer (natürlich auch der Altbau-Bauweise geschuldet) sehr, sehr hellhörig.

Tolle Lage, zentral an der Fußgängerzone und Eingang zur Altstadt. Schönes altes Gemäuer mit Charme.
Spitzen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zugangscode hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Sehr nette Gastgeberin.

Location was great. We arrived early evening so the staff had already left, however we received detailed info in advance on how to open front door, get key etc. It worked well. Few rooms on each floor made it seem private even though you had to share toilet and bath.

Old big windows that did not allow tilting, the street in front of the hotel was noisy in the morning

The room did not correspond to the picture, smaller with bad lighting and no bedside tables.
No lift and the stars were a health hasard, were irregular and rather unsafe and dark.

It's a lovely, quirky hotel with a sense of period in a fabulous location.
It would have been nice to meet a member of staff, but I recognise that this is not feasible when arriving so late and leaving so early.

Had to drag my heavy bicycle up 3 flights of stairs to a roof garden, impossible to do by myself

Great location, right in the old town in a pedestrian area so very quiet at night. Lovely large room and beautifully decorated .

The romantic garden would be ideal for own breakfast instead of the cafe on the opposite side.

This place was lovely. Not like a hostel at all, more a small hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated, very clean and the staff were amazing. Great location too.

Right in the old town, cafes and shops on doorstep. Large room. Staff helpful and friendly
Entrance not obvious as the sign (laminated printed sheet) had faded. Street noise at night into early hours if you open windows, hard to avoid due to location.
Private separate bathroom was about 25 metres away at the end of the corridor, on reflection ensuite would be better. It was OK though.

Lovely big room, central location and yet quiet.
The manager was very helpful in arranging the taxi to the port and also allowed a late check out with luggage storage.
I misread "own bathroom at the end of the corridor" thinking it would be nearby, like next door. It was private and it was at the end of the 25 metre corridor.
No lift, so lugging our overweight bags up 3 flights of stairs wasn't great.

This ia a very nice and stylish hotel in the centre of Passau. Room was comfortable and the view nice. We would definetly stay there again!

The position is exellent, right in the city center. Room are big and the bed confortable. There is little but really cute internal garden where to spend some hours chilling and hearing voices of the people as sourrunding music.
The only down side is that the toilet are in common and little too small, but this is not a real limit of this place. Little thing: the reception is not always open but only in certain time and there will be a lovely woman to serve you.
