Property as advertised, all ok.

Lovely stay, good parking, good location, a few little repairs needed and perhaps a lick of paint but these are just quibbles. We have already booked for this year Oct to Dec… Helen and John

The villa was pefect. It gave us privacy and convenience having bedrooms over 2 floors and 2 bathrooms. We had everything we needed. The villa was in a clean and pleasant area, with shops and bars not too far away.

Great location to enjoy our 3-week-holiday. Very friendly hosts and superb communication. Hope to be back soon.

Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and showers worked fine (…although the only two mirrors in the house were in the bath/shower rooms!), kitchen well appointed and property handy for pool. Main ‘comments’ - wardrobe door downstairs bedroom, jammed and couldn’t be fixed by property manager Karine- our son fixed in less than a minute. Some fittings were showing their age (falling apart when touched) Not enough chairs for main table or terrace table without moving them around. BBQ needs a grate for coke to burn properly.

We were within 5 minute walk to Cabanas but in a quiet community. We loved having the whole house and outdoor area to ourselves. Everything was very clean, many small amenities were provided such as laundry and dishwasher soap, there lots of dishes and cutlery. The owner responded quickly to all inquiries. It is 2 levels with 2 twin beds downstairs and a full bath. 2 bedrooms upstairs with a full bath. 2 roof top decks

Our host was Fernado and Teresa and the property manager Karine. Everything was as explained in the listing. Even though we didn't meet eye to eye, they were there for anything we needed. We loved the property and we are booked for an extra month at the same place next year. That in itself should tell you how much we loved the place. We can't wait till next year! Thank you To all who own and manage this property! A "10" in our books!

Had 7 weeks in the house in cabanas during November & December. Good communication with the owner also Katerina helpful when we arrived. There is plenty of crockery & cutlery oven dishes saucepans etc. Enjoyed the choice of having 3 terraces for outside space the roof terrace gets the sun all day even this time of year. Good location train station only 10 mins walk in conciecou. Cabanas don't have a large supermarket but can recommend the butchers & fishmonger in the town great produce for the bbq back at the house. The boat to Cabanas beach runs infrequently this time of year according to the weather. Villa quenta as a swimming pool which they empty & lock the gate end of October a small bar opened weekend and Sunday afternoons there was pleasant for a drink listening to live musician couple of other places to eat on the complex but close this time of year.Can walk into Tavira from here in about an hour along the formosa very pleasant walk good for bird watching. Very much enjoyed our winter break & would not esitate to return.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Strand, Supermarkt und Restaurants sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Fernando’s house is a great place to stay in an ideal location. It is spacious, well- furnished, with wood quality furniture and fittings, which is why we always return here when in Cabanas. A great holiday home!

Habitação espaçosa, com terraço e com todas as condições para umas ferias em família.

Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist gut, zum Pool sind es um die 100 Meter. Die vier Einzelbetten sind sehr bequem. Das Doppelbett ist allerdings nur 140 cm breit und nicht sehr bequem. Die Fenster im OG können mit Rollos nur leicht abgedunkelt werden. Im EG gibt es kleine Ameisen, daher sollten Lebensmittel nicht offen abgelegt werden. Aber auch in anderen Häusern treten diese oft auf. Positiv: Geschirrspültabs, Seife, Waschmittel, WC-Papier sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Exatamente como mostram as fotos, excelente propriedade para passar férias em família, confortável e com tudo o que é necessário.

Great rooms and outdoor spaces and for late night relaxing on the roof terrace Good bar and food area within the complex however pool was dirty and in need of upheaval. Bird poo un-cleaned within the “statue area” was very discerning

We stayed one week in CAbanas de Tavira and we loved the house, great location, well equipped, specially the air conditioning on each room and living room, so important on these hot summer nights. The host was always available and the communication was very easy. We asked for an extra table and an electric plug extension and they brought it very quickly.

Maison de trois chambres et un grand salon. Très agréable et au calme. Couchage pour 8 personnes sans problème. Tout est propre et il y a tous ce qu il faut. Nous avons passé deux semaines et il n y a eu aucun problème. Je recommande cette location.

We have stayed in Cabanas many times but this was our 1st time renting a property on the Quinta Velha complex as it is so popular. We stayed for 5 weeks and the images of the villa do not do it justice it was really amazing more like a 'home from home' than a holiday rental. Lots of personal touches even the sofa reclined!! We did not use the upstairs (bathroom and 2 bedrooms) as we were only a couple so chose the downstairs twin bedroom with the adjacent bathroom. The beds were amazingly comfortable with lovely mattress toppers to ensure you had a wonderful nights sleep. The kitchen was very well equipped and it had the largest fridge/freezer we have ever come across and plenty of room throughout if the villa is used to full capacity ( sleeps 8 in total) Karine who looks after the villa was great, always on hand to sort out any problems and she called several times when passing just to make sure we were ok and did not need anything. Our experience with Fernando through the booking process was also 1st class , highly efficient and professional. The roof solarium has 2 sunbeds with mattresses with fabulous 360 degree view and we used them several times as an alternative to the communal pool or beach. Our only constructive suggestion would be the provision of some outdoor furniture on the large 1st floor balcony that caught the late afternoon and evening sun. As there were only two of us we used 2 chairs up there from the downstairs patio area table and chairs so it was not a problem for us. All in all we had the most amazing holiday in the most wonderful villa in our favourite place Cabanas. Would we return , without a doubt even it is very difficult to book this villa as it is so popular!

We have recently stayed at this villa for 2 months and absolutely loved it. In the months leading up to our stay, we had plenty of contact with the owner and the arrival and handover process was carried very efficiently by Karine the manager who was helpful and friendly. The villa is lovely, very well maintained and the most well equipped of anywhere we have previously stayed. It had every utensil etc you could need and the toaster worked great! The promenade, river and main part of Cabanas is a 10-15 minute walk away and was somewhere we enjoyed walking to daily. We visited over Winter so it was very quiet, which we preferred. This villa is very well located for the restaurants and bars in Cabanas and also Tavira which is a short car ride away. There are also lots of different, easy walks that we did daily from the villa which were lovely especially because of the large variety of birds that we spotted along the way. I would easily recommend staying in this villa, we had a wonderful holiday. I have fallen in love with this part of Portugal and would stay here again.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances ( 9-16 juin). La maison est très bien située, équipée, aménagée. Rien à redire, nous recommandons et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Although the website says that only 2 of the 3 bedrooms have aircon, they all have aircon as well as the lounge area, which was a big plus. Off road car parking outside house.The individual building is situated in a complex of similar properties, with a communal pool. The house is on 3 levels, the very upper one being a small sun terrace, the 2nd has a large sun terrace which is accessed off the landing. Also on the 2nd floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, a large separate family bathroom with bath/shower. The ground floor has another twin bedroom and separate smaller bathroom with just a shower. This can be accessed from the lounge area (which is open plan with the dining and kitchen). A curtain or door off the lounge would be a great addition to solve the problem of being seen from the lounge as you go from bedroom to bathroom and visa versa.The wardrobe space in each bedroom is very good and there are adequate towels (no tea towels though!) The house is well maintained and looks quite new, it's an advertisement for IKEA, complete with quite hard beds that need toppers!Kitchen had most things you need, could have done with a small pan for boiling eggs, egg cups, some non-stick utensils and a corkscrew that worked! The toaster was abysmal, tiny toy affair that burnt more than it toasted and we had to request a kettle from the lady that looks after the place. Not sure how anyone made tea before us!The lounge/dining room is spacious and airy. Off the lounge there are double doors that lead onto a good sized patio area with table and chairs for 6, so eating alfresco is comfortable. Watching the bats zooming past at dusk is another treat!There are fly-net screens on most of the windows but we had quite a few persistent ants in the kitchen!Wonderful swimming pool with lots of loungers and sun umbrellas, well-kept lawn areas. There is a bar and restaurant in the complex.The location is good, short walk down a well-lit road to the main sea-facing street.If I was visiting this part of Portugal again, we would definitely stay in this 3 bed house.
