Overall there were 7 of us (5 adults, 2 children). The farmhouse was comfy and offered everything we needed from amenities to location. Drake and Wright were amazing and friendly hosts. We were in RI to visit family and our stay at Hurricane Hill Farm made our visit perfect. We would recommend and most definitely stay here again.

Interesting place with the chickens, sherp, and llama. Close enough to several places we wanted to see - Cape Cod, Boston, newport.

We had the most wonderful time! The property is stunning and Drake and Wright are incredible hosts. The cottage is cozy, well maintained, and easily had enough space for the 7 of us. We would love to stay here again!

This space is great for unplugging and taking in nature while being very close to just about anything.
While staying here our families explored Rhode Island by checking out the Railway Explorers which was very fun and literally anyone can pedal them. We also went to Southwick Zoo and checked out Thayer Street in Providence. Also the Providence Place Mall is giant with so many shops and things to do(Level 99(escape roomish) and Dave & Busters).
In the down time we checked out the animals on the farm. There is Maxine the Llama, many sheep, and lots of chickens. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Hurricane Hill pets, Mr Smokey-pants the cat, and Oliver and Rosie the pups.
We often had breakfast on the patio while overlooking the field.
The rooms are a great size with all the amenities one could need.
The kitchen is bright with fun dishes to liven up your culinary adventures.
Overall we had a great time.

We absolutely loved it here. Cute cottage with a magical space. Farm fresh duck eggs were wonderful. Sipping morning tea under the linden tree out back was our favorite!

The setting is beautiful, an open meadow and garden. The working farm chickens, ducks, sheep and 2 llamas nearby added to the charm. The house is in great mix of an old house with modern systems. Drake and her husband are more than happy to help with questions but are also busy running the farm so you have privacy as well. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful four day weekend at the farm to celebrate our son's college graduation. The house was very comfortable and was the perfect place to reconnect and relax. We had fun exploring the farm and meeting the animals.

This place is amazing. The cottage is the best equipped and stocked I have ever stayed in. There was tons of room for our 6-year-old grandson to play and run around, a hiking trail on the property, and the animals are fun to watch. You can even buy farm fresh eggs there.
it really feels like you are in the country, yet only 15-20 mins to downtown Providence, so the location couldn't be better.
Drake made us feel right at home and was a remarkable host!

What a joy for all our kids to meet the animals and stay on a farm. Drake went above and beyond to let the kids meet and enjoy all the farm animal friends..

We love this property! This is our second stay! The house is beautiful and meticulously kept. Beds are super comfortable, there is more than adequate linen supply and a well stocked kitchen. The games and puzzle collection is so wonderful my kids love exploring the games and having some family time to play them. The property is also so beautiful with so much space to walk around. Visiting with their animal family of goats and llama and chickens is so fun with small children. Drake is so warm and welcoming assisting with anything you need. The house and property are clearly so well cared for and loved. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a great long weekend here! Drake and Wright were great hosts! The house had everything we needed for our group of 7. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the location was great. We traveled easily to Plymouth for a whale watching tour and a great lighthouse in Jamestown/Newport. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much!!

We came as a group of 7 adults and 2 teenagers and stayed for 3 nights to attend a graduation. We would have loved to stay longer and explore the area. Hurricane Hill provided us with a tranquil place to stay and enjoy the animals and quirky house (I mean this as positive as possible - nothing negative here at all). It was nice to have a house with a well-stocked kitchen, excellent friendly, yet non-intrusive hosts, and comfortable beds. We would definitely return if we return to the area.

The property was exactly what our team was looking for. We had several business classes to attend in Providence and our team decided to stay at this property. We are certainly glad that we did. We were able to take in the charm of what Providence and the surrounding areas offer by staying here.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is looking to relax a bit. Even though you are only a very short drive from the city you feel like you are "away from it all" and it made it easy for us to all relax and take in everything that the property offers.
We truly enjoyed our time.
Sincerely, Alan S

Great hosts. Peaceful setting. Great midpoint location between Boston and Newport - allowed us to easily reach all our desired destinations from one place.
Loved waking up to the roosters crowing.

Just idyllic. We were on our way to drop off our kid for freshman year of college, and the tranquility of Hurricane Hill was a welcome distraction from the stress of it all. A beautiful house set on a working farm. I was so fascinated talking to Wright about the animals -- e.g. the personalities of llamas, the effort to save endangered domesticated breeds (a really important subject, I think), a surprising connection they have to George Washington, etc. -- that my family had to come roust me so we wouldn't miss a dinner reservation. A special place. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Hurricane Hill. Drake and Wright were such gracious hosts always making sure we were comfortable. The property is beautiful with so many places to walk and so many animals to enjoy(chickens, ducks, goats, llamas). Inside the home is so clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We all enjoyed the games we could play in lieu of a TV, the comfortable beds and more than ample supply of towels and bath supplies. Having four bedrooms was also really nice. This is a very charming historic home. We would love to stay here again!
