Perfect for all ages. Ski lift is right outside the driveway which made skiing in and out a breeze. Beautiful house with even more beautiful views ❤️

The property was amazing. Both rustic and elegant at the same time. Massive beams and columns that were quite impressive. Virtually every room had amazing views of the mountain and valley. The master suite and adjoining bathroom were also quite impressive. The other bedrooms with king-size beds also had amazing attached bathrooms. The only drawback was there were no lights over the vanities in the master bathroom. It made the application of make up someone difficult. There were multiple light switches in the house that we found no corresponding lights to. The property is also billed as a ski in/ski out home. However, it’s a bit of a walk down to the ski lift, and the access back to the house is a little bit difficult to access from the slopes and you still need to walk about 50 yards up the street to get to the property. Overall though, we were very pleased. One additional thing to note, Uber and Lyft do not operate routinely in big sky resort. You will either need a rental vehicle or other transportation plans to get around.

Where to start? This house is just as beautiful as the pictures, if not better. We used the lodge as the venue for a small marriage ceremony and it was so perfect. And the hosts were UNBELIEVABLY GREAT! My husband and I wanted to spend another night after our family left and the host was quick to respond and super accommodating. We loved every second of being there and would return tomorrow! Highly recommend the lodge for any kind of event like ours or even just a very nice place for your family to stay at. Can’t say enough about this place!

This is, architecturally, the most beautiful house ever. However: 1: There is no air conditioning. We were not aware of this. For 3 days of our stay, it was hot and uncomfortable. 2: House is built for form, not function. It does not work well to actually live in, even temporarily. Examples: - The entire front wall is mostly made of glass, but there are no curtains except in baths. So for 3 of the master suites, the loft, and the den sleeping area, there is no bedroom privacy. You can’t change clothes in your bedroom without being fully exposed to the people on the deck (main level) (no curtains in bedrooms) or in the hot tub (basement level). The bathrooms have some curtains on the front wall, but not on the side glass, and the deck is wraparound; so you can’t take a bath or shower or change clothes even in the bathroom without being fully exposed. - The guest bath literally has a wet-bath style shower. The shower has no shower curtain and no shower base on the floor. Water goes everywhere, including on your clothes and towel. - The fireplaces have all been closed so they are decorative only. - The sinks are on too-high vanities and are partly obscured with decorative rocks covering the faucet and piping. You can’t get your hands in there to wash hands very well. - In the middle master suite downstairs, instead of using a regular shower curtain liner like they did in the upstairs master suite, they got a huge sheet of poly, cut it with scissors, and hung that up. Nasty. - Too much decor. It’s hard to use surfaces in the bedrooms and baths bc of all the decor everywhere. Also: Main level floor had lots of standing water on it when we checked in. Safety hazard. My bedroom had someone else’s old sock in it. Toilet downstairs wouldn’t flush if you used the sink, even with only liquid in toilet. Grill was so dirty that it started a grease fire when we started it up. Water damage on walls has been hidden with decor instead of repaired. Log veneer had not been repaired where electrical work was done in staircase. Gravel driveway. No landscaping or lawn at basement level where hot tub was. Squirrel ran out of house when we checked in. Bats or squirrels are in the top of the main level ceiling/trusses and were making noise. No rug pad or tape in great room. Huge, thin rug bunched up badly; safety hazard. Kitchen is well-appointed. House is beautiful & luxurious. But it needs to be better managed.

Grandparents, three kids, spouses and nine grandchildren for the first family get-together in three years. Fantastic views, well-appointed house with space for all.

We had a wonderful visit on Big Sky. The location and views from the house are amazing. The house handled our group of 18 very well. We enjoyed the fire pit on cool nights with the whole family. The owners and house manager were very responsive and made sure any little issue we had was immediately addressed. I highly recommend this house and Big Sky for a great vacation.

This was the perfect space to spend a few days to relax and unwind. It snowed during our stay which made our time here even more magical. Seeing the the snow capped mountains and wildlife was just what we needed!

This house was great for a large group. The views were some of the prettiest we’ve ever seen. The owners were quick to respond. Great experience.

We had four families and total of 18 people. Beautiful house and good memories having that many people all staying together. Ski in/out allowed different groups to come and go as they wished.

Gorgeous home with spectacular views! Like having a mountain lodge all to your self. The bathrooms are amazing. The beds are extremely comfortable with memory foam mattresses. The hot tub is perfectly positioned for outdoor soaking. The loft has 6 comfortable beds for the kids giving the adults privacy downstairs. And the hosts provide excellent hospitality & superb communication. We went for spring skiing in March & were not disappointed. The Moonlight Basin & Madison Base side of the mountain that you are on is less crowded & has the longest runs in Big Sky. Horseshoe clocks in at 2.5 miles. The Pony Express lift is a 2 minute walk downhill & the return trail brings you right across the street from the home. You will need 4WD or snow chains to get out of the steep driveway during winter conditions, but the roads up to the house are all plowed. Bucket list trip is Yellowstone National Park in winter which is 1:15 from the house.

Our family and another family enjoyed Chris's home which worked out great for our group of 8. Home was well taken care of and appointed well. Location is convienent given it's proximity to Moonlight Basin's entry and golf course is amazing.

The house is large and we’ll appointed with excellent outdoor living. Everything worked well. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. Parking is adequate. The house is equipped with a nice selection of entertainment, and has adequate internet service. The electricity only went out once for about 90 minutes. Not bad for Big Sky!

This home was perfect for our long family weekend! Chris was very accommodating and easy to communicate with! The views are spectacular & it felt like you are in your own private Lodge! The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! Easy access to everything! Thanks so much Chris! We will be back!

One of the very best properties rented in our 35 year annual ski trip history! Owners are just great about catering to your every need while there. The house and furnishings are over the top great! The ski in/out access takes a “ little bit” of effort... but works well overall. Highly recommend this property for a large group or extended family stay. Doug Martin- Lincoln Calif

We stayed in this lovely home for our Annual Ski Spectacular and it worked out very nicely for us. 12 adults, no children. The kitchen was well-stocked, the baths and bedrooms, well-appointed and comfortable. You do have to walk down the road to the Pony Express but it's not far and not at all inconvenient. To ski home, hit the Bozeman trail and veer left through the Twin Tunnels. It gets you within 100 yards of the house. The owners were very approachable and answered any and all of our questions promptly and kindly. Highly recommend this property for your next vacation.

We visit Yellowstone every year and normally stay in Jackson. We decided to try Big Sky this year. Best travel decision we have made. The home is amazing, even better than the pictures describe. We had everything we needed well in advance of arrival and there was absolutely no hassle. Chris had taken care of every detail for us. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great vacation!!! My wife has already started planning for next year and will do everything she can to book this amazing home again. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. All of the finer details were taken into consideration upon arrival. The host provided all of the necessary information before arriving to the home. It was a (good) surprise when we openned the large door, to note that the house was really more beautiful and spacious than imagined through the pictures ! All details are well thought and we regretted to have booked only 4 nights. So many things to do in big sky and yellow stone. Thank you for all.

This was our first trip to Montana/Big Sky/Yellowstone. The house was perfect for a large family with master suites for 4 couples and plenty of beds for all the kids. Would absolutely love to do it again. We didn't use the hot tub, but did make good use of the fire pit and the large dining room and kitchen. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and we did at least half our meals there. I wouldn't change a thing.

BRAVO! We stay in moonlight basin/big sky every Easter weekend to enjoy a final ski weekend on the slopes with our closest friends...and to welcome in Spring! We stay in a different home each time to keep it fresh and fun for our group of 14. This home did not disappoint!! Beautiful views from all sides of this estate. Wraparound decks to enjoy the beauty and have everyone together. Plenty of space for 4 families. Two dining tables to fit 18. Easy access to lifts. Chris, the owner, is simply fabulous to work with. I highly recommend this EXQUISITE home as your “home away from home”! Thank you Chris!
