Staff was super friendly, also with our 3 kids (7,4,0).

Although they were superfriendly to our kids, its more a relax hotel, not very focused on kids (no kids menu, late opening restaurant)

The hotel is stunning. It is kept in immaculate condition, the pool is clean, the interiors are stunning and the gardens are beautiful. We also enjoyed using the services onsite, such as the gym and the restaurant. The food is excellent and I would highly recommend going here. The gym is also very well equipped. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. We didn’t do much in the local area as the Viagrande region is very residential, however for what we wanted it was perfect. On our final day we visited a vineyard which was 5 min walk from the hotel for a wine and food pairing session.

We had asked the staff for taxi bookings twice during our stay (you will need either taxis or a rental car to get around) but the quotes they provided us with were far too expensive. When we looked into booking our own taxis we got them for half the price they were quoting. It was very family orientated - lots of kids by the pool.

The property and the general experience - it was beautiful and truly relaxing. it is more beautiful than the photos and the views were incredible. the staff were friendly and welcoming

i didn’t like that the hotel had insane prices - I understand it is an upmarket hotel, but in general I felt that it had a spirit that didn’t feel generous. we paid a great deal of money to stay there, and then the cost of beverages were massive, to pay €15 for a drink by the pool is a little outrageous, and to have to also pay for parking on top. the prices of the food were also expensive - which I don’t mind paying, but only if the food was outstanding, which I didn’t feel it was. it is difficult because I do think it was a beautiful place but I left feeling a little cheated. if you stay here you have to expect it will cost you a lot more than just the accommodation.

Nice tranquil atmosphere with smooth jazz in background. Extremely helpful and competent reception staff offering restaurant recommendations and input to our day tours. Lots of good choices at breakfast buffet. Two high quality restaurants at the hotel although not really for kids. Good location between Catania, Taormina and Etna.

From the moment you enter this peaceful and beautiful property you feel the extraordinary spirit of hospitality and well being. What a gem of a hotel! Just perfect as a base for exploring Etna, Taormina and other parts of the Sicilian east coast. Highly recommended!

This hotel was one of the most beautiful and stylish I’ve stayed at. Everything was perfect - really comfortable beds, breakfast and other meals were delicious, staff were really caring and attentive. Rooms very comfortable and cleverly designed. Just loved everything about it.

Absolutely nothing. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We’ll return at some point and stay again.
