Herman was an excellent host sharing a wealth of history of the area. The family heirlooms gave a special homely charm.

An excellent place to stay the night. Clean with excellent service, excellent food of good quality, both for breakfast and dinner. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, an excellent cook and a very interesting person to talk to. The room was big and had all the facilities needed. There is a parking area in the premises.

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. My host Herman was wonderful, really went to a lot of effort to make stay enjoyable.

A lovely family house that is now a guest house with a wonderfull garden. Herman is a wonderfull host. When we did the mistake to tell him that it was my husbands birthday and our 26 years wedding day he gave us a nice bottle of red Wine. We will enjoy it tomorrow when it is Hermans birthday. Hope the day will be just like planned, overlooking a waterwhole in Etosha. 😊

This is just a lovely bed & breakfast, with the most hospitable host imaginable. The location within Grootfontein is nice, the rooms were very comfortable, our children very much enjoyed playing in the beautiful garden and Hermann did not only make us feel very welcome but is also an outstanding cook!

The breakfast was delicious. The host was so kind and helpful as I booked with them last minute but still managed to get us a decent accommodation.

The breakfast was good with healthy options freshly prepared by our host and served in a stately diningroom. The location was perfect and we felt safe with parking on the premises. A welcome pot of tea was offered to us on arrival and our host joined us in conversation

The lack of bathroom privacy. The toilet needs to be in an enclosed cubicle. There was too much furniture in the room. There were no tea and coffee facilities, no hair dryer and no heater. It was very cold at night, The room price was pricey and we feel that breakfast could have been included

Thank you very much the accommodation was excellent at HH 820. We were kindly received and served and everything in the accommodation is of a good standard. Everything is silvery clean and neat. We were spoiled with surprising food parcels for the road. Lovely, safe, and quiet place and well located and easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to sleep there.
