La chambre qui donne accès à une vue sur la mer est tout simplement dingue et superbe ! Elle est aussi très fonctionnelle et très bien agencée, celle-ci est décorée avec simplicité et beaucoup de goût ! Bercer par le bruit des vagues et non pas par le bruit des voitures donc très agréable au coucher ainsi qu'au lever du jour ! En ce qui concerne la literie, celle-ci est très confortable et les petites attentions dans la chambre qui vont avec sont dignes d'un 5 étoiles ! Le personnel est tout simplement agréable et aux petits soins pour répondre aux attentes des clients et met tout en œuvre pour que le séjour se déroule à la perfection. J'y reviendrais sans hésiter pour un week-end au calme et en appréciant le cadre qu'offre cet hôtel.
Le seul point est que la vitre de la salle de bain n'est pas opaque et que l'on peut voir de la chambre et le fait qu'il n'y est pas de porte non plus.

Petit déjeuner 25€ c’est cher pour ce que c’est par rapport à un établissement classique. Le petit déjeuner n’a rien d’extraordinaire
Parking 20€ cher également puisqu’il y a très peu de places et je pense que l’été tout le monde ne pourra pas bénéficier d’une place (ce qui n’est pas normal pour un 5 étoiles)
Parking qui n’est pas fermé la nuit donc 20€ par jour ça fait cher la prestation
Obligé de faire le tour de l’établissement pour un retour tardif car le portail est fermé avec un cadenas
SDB pas très propre, finition à reprendre dans la chambre notamment joints de la douche (ce genre de détail n’empêche pas de passer un bon séjour mais encore une fois pour un 5 étoiles ça ne devrait pas exister)

I found the staff exceptional. They were very welcoming. I had booked a second night after making my first booking, and the manager made sure we could stay in the same room. The beach is beautiful, and the food at the beach bar was outstanding.
It was the highlight of our trip to the French mediterranean and I've been recommending to people back here in Canada.

The beach club was a bit expensive and could have been included for residents at the hotel.

The designers did a great job at making this retro buildig up to todays standards. Tha staff was very nice and polite.

Excellent location. Enjoyed our swim in the Med. Nice sea view from out room. Good Shower. Good food, breakfast and evening meal. Our car was parked for us safely. Baggage was brought up to our room and taken down on leaving.
The room was a little small but ok and was very new and very clean and the bathroom was big. No side table on one side of the big bed, had to use my suitcase.

the beach is just in front of the hotel and is very beautiful. beach services are great and all personnel extremely nice and helpful.

reading previous comments it also seems that the hotel did improve some of the criticised services (such as the beach, which is now a 10) which shows good commitment and professionalism. some more improvements are anyway required to meet 5* standards.
common areas and rooms require a refresh and refurbishment. old furniture, damaged and spoiled. some improvements would really require little efforts (such a new repaint of the spoiled walls) and it is a pity they are not carried out despite the tons of comments in this respect.

Perfect venue with direct access to thé beach! Very relaxing. Also very good for guests with children of all ages. Nice restaurant with good quality food
The pool is a bit limited. But for us this did not count since the beach is right in front of the hotel.

This was our second visit to De La Plage (first visit 2019) and it was just as we remembered, hence it 'met our expectations'.
Location is fantastic, the restaurant excellent, easy access to beach, quiet, staff mostly excellent.
We love the hotel and we will return. We observed last time that the total space of the rooms is adequate but too much space is devoted to bathroom and toilet at the expense of the sleeping and sitting area. Clearly a design issue and it will not deter us from returning. On our first visit we arrived in our car, a Jaguar, during a tour of Southern France - and we were received royally. This time as we returned to the hotel on the second day, we had to persuade the car park attendant that we really were residents despite driving an awful, rented Renault Clio !!

The room was clean, modern and contained everything we needed. The view was lovely. The hotel was close to the beach.
Staff lack of interest in their guests and not very professional. Facilities were not 5 star - swimming pool dirty & in need of renovation. Charging guests for sun beds & parking. Cost, quality, quantity & availability of food & drink in beach bar. Food availability & choice in hotel very limited.

Breakfast served in the room was brilliant, lunch at the hotel was disappointing and pretty expensive for what it was.
On the hole, we had a great stay , the staff couldn’t do enough for you, excellent service.
