The apartment was quite old for the price we paid and air-conditioning only in one of the three rooms.

The double bed was very unstable and not very comfortable, an extra pillow would have been appriciated.

Very friendly staff and warm welcome. We enjoyed good breakfast and excellent dinner (very tasty and sufficient choices) in nice half open (patio type) restaurant. We had a double room with good AC, comfortable beds, safe and a bathroom with a good shower, toilet, etc. The rooms got cleaned daily. Ability to sit outside on street side, have a drink and play some of the games the hostel provided (chess, cards, dominos). Secure private parking (limited spaces), located nearby the hotel, was available at some extra charge, reasonably priced and worthwhile using given how busy Roses gets. I was glad I booked it upfront, when the hotel indicated the possibility of this, as finding a public parking spot in Roses can be a bit of a nightmare: many places charge more for full time parking than the hotel did. The hostel is located one road back from the main drag and an easy walk (150 to 200m) to the beach. In the evenings we explored the backstreets with many little restaurants and shops and the beach front. A nice vibe going on. We, including our kids, really enjoyed our stay at Hostel ROM.

There is no parking immediately at the hotel, not surprising and to be expected. You can unload and load the car when arriving and leaving, at the hostel on the street, for short time only. Some road noise, when sleeping with window, or rather balcony door(s), open, like street cleaning machine passing by and locals having morning conversations. But this is to be expected in city setting.

The apartment to 6 persons is not located inside the hotel, it's 5 minutes walking, but it's comfortable and clean. The location is really nice, less than 10 minutes walking from the beach. The breakfast is inside the hotel, we needed to walk, it's ok

The distance for walking with Luggage - should be better meeting the guest directly in the correct building, it should be easy also to park the car closest.
