Good location, chef that made omelette, fried eggs for breakfast.

Very hot in rooms, not adequate ventilation in bathroom, no blinds to block out daylight

Very central and close to restaurants and parking available at a charge.

loved the history and the location!

They had employed a chef who made items to order for breakfast. I opted for an omelette which was made to perfection. He and all the staff were very helpful.

This is an old style hotel, as suggested perfectly by the name. You need to make sure that that you are expecting this.

Custom ordered warm breakfast. The bed was ok.

Toilet did not work properly (the flush handle). The TV signals were not great. And there were pornographic pictures hanging in the room. (Included the worst one in pictures.)

It's such a cosy place to stay.

The only problem is that if someone is staying next to your room and even walks in their room, it feels like they are walking in your room. Even if someone is walking outside in the lobby, it makes loud sound in your room. It made me really disturbed, and I woke a couple of times because someone was walking outside, and it was really loud. Even there was no shower gel and shampoo in the washroom. It was really annoying when I woke up and I was in a hurry. I couldn't take a shower properly.

There was silence during the night so that one could sleep without being distrubed. Breakfast buffet was simple, but efficient and easy for everyone to choose their favorite.

My room had a very small basin in the bathroom, it was quite difficult for an adult person to wash their hands properly.

Staff were very good and helpful.

No kettle in the room

old property, noisy floor, minimum choice or options for vegetarian breakfast, microwave in the room was not working, the staff has no clear idea about alternative option for parking, struggle for getting a parking slot in the hotel compound.
