Excellent and quiet location, across from the beach in a small village but with several dinning options within walking distance, including the hotel.. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Secure, though not necessary, and covered bicycle parking (always nice to start the day with a dry seat).

Hotel is located ar. 100 meters from the beach, short walk from the cliffs (not these famous ones, obviously). Area is very pleasant and peaceful, also very quiet during the night. English speaking staff. Room was not the newest, but kept very clean. Towels and bedding were fine, soap and shower gel provided, hairdryer available. Bathroom very tiny and a bit outdated, but functional and neat. Mattress was very comfy and the bed was perfectly quiet, so finally I've had a full night of uninterrupted sleep (this was the fourth hotel during our trip). Each room has an assigned parking spot, so no worries about finding the place. A fridge with cold beer is available in the hotel's hall, that's a very nice touch. Breakfast was amazing. Self service from the buffet located in a separate room. Warm dishes: scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs and crispy bacon. Cold plates: wide choice of hams, pates, cheeses. Philadelphia, butter, jams and honey in single portions. Yoghurts, selection of fruits (not only obvious apples and bananas, but slices of kiwi, watermelon etc.), cereals and muesli. Fresh vegetables, caprese. Last but not least: smoked fish, mixed salads with marinated fishes and mayo/cream; I highly recommend trying it, as it was very delicious. Filtered coffee served in a thermos. I travel with a picky eater who sometimes skips dull hotel breakfasts, here was no such risk, quite the opposite. Pity that we've already had the next hotel booked, otherwise I would extend our stay in Rügen and Strandhotel Lobbe.

The only thing that I was missing was a fridge and a kettle in the room, but for only 78€ for a double room with breakfast and parking included I don't expect a high end hotel, so it wasn't really a problem.

Really enjoyed the hotel, the meal in their Restaurant and the beach. Super!
