Confortable and clean

You have to bring your bedsheets otherwise it gets expansive.

Peaceful and nice location

Nice room with lovely views over the park. Breakfast was very good.

The room was rather cold and there was no way of adjusting the temperature.

Great hospitality, wonderful people. The kids loved the soccer field. We loved the breakfast and wonderful clean room.

I like the staff most as they all are really cooperative and helpful . All the facilities are available there like it is well furnished, spic and span . We enjoy the view and also click the photograph, and it also near to the supermarket.

I like all the things there , but some people want attached bathrooms . So danhostel try to provide that facility to their customer’s. Overall it is good for their services , staff is really cooperative to their customers

you have a minimum but really everything what you need in the room, which looks nice. the personal is very nice and helpful. the breakfast is very nice.

it is not cheap for a very simple room and bathroom outside. but maybe ok for Denmark, I don’t know.

Breakfast was good, location excellent for the Legoland visitors (by car) and common kitchen was really good. Also late check-in was organized really well.

Breakfast was sensational, and the accommodation surprised us how nice it was. Can definitely recommend!

We managed to book, visit and leave outside of opening hours without seeing a single person. Communication and service works very well.

Very good value for money. Clean, big room, super easy to check in, beds were made and towels provided (as per our request online), overall very happy with our stay.

Only downside was that we travelled with 4 kids between 8 and 2 years and the bunk beds in the room were very high and NOT safe for kids to sleep in. The bed rail had a huge gap in the middle that an adult could fall through. See photo. Also, the mattresses on top were a lot thinner and not as good as the bottom beds. And it would be great to have a small fridge in the room to store drinks, fruit etc over night. The basement is a bit out of the way for a family with small kids.

The town Kolding was nice

The room didn't smell great, the beds were more like nappy changing units than bunk beds and the room was very basic. We didn't realize that sheets & towels were not included so once we paid for them for 5 people the price was almost on a par with a nice hotel.

The hostel is next to a small park on top of a hill (rare in Denmark) The view over Kolding was beautiful and the hike up the hill was relaxing. Room was clean and cozy. I was a little surprised that you needed to pay separately for linen and towels. I never encountered that on a Booking trip before. Keep that in mind when you stay with them. The public kitchen was nice too.
