Pod was clean and comfortable

Lounge a bit dull

Loved everything. The pod was cozy with under floor heating, outside bathroom was clean as only used by the guests in the pods, staff were really helpful and breakfast was delicious.

I hadn't stated in a YHA hostel for over 30 years, so was somewhat apprehensive. However, the organisation has been modernised and the hostel experience is now less spartan and more relaxed and laid back. The manager, Mike and his team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Location was superb and the hostel itself was comfortable and warm. Breakfast options were good, cooked breakfasts included vegetarian options. The continental buffet breakfast was very good for the price and non-dairy 'milk' was available, which was a pleasant surprise when even most hotels still have to catch up in this respect. Also a good choice of wine and beer, including local artesan beers were available on site. How the YHA has changed for the better since my youth!! All in all, a pleasant and enjoyable stay

My one and only criticism is the lack of a mirror for shaving in my room.

I was very impressed with the pod we stayed in very comfortable the staff were very friendly and helpful I have never stayed in a Hostel before but I would certainly do it again

The facility here is better maintained than the YHA in Bristol, at least no handle drops off this time.

The perfume is too strong in the corridor.

If you like silence, there is no TV but there are a lot of interesting places to visit.
