Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to an event nearby. On the day we were coming I phoned when we were an hour away to ask if we could check in early which they said was no problem. Arrived at half 11 and a nice friendly guy came out to meet us and checked us into our room. The room had everything you needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, perfect temperature. They do meals there but I never got round to trying as I wasn’t there long enough but it smelled lovely and there was lots of people there for meals so it must be good. It was a great location, easy to find and you can sit right by the river too, perfect.

I left about 8:30 on Sunday morning and didn't know where to put room keys amd didn't know if I needed to sign out or let them know that I was leaving.

The staff were lovely and the price of the food the beer the whole stay was mind blowing and the best bit is that it's all new and they still have not finished doing the place

Staff were really friendly and accommodating, the food was nice and they have a nicely stocked bar. Impressed that the room had both a fan and a heater to allow for comfort throughout the year. The view of the river is beautiful and there is a nice area to sit looking over the water and surrounding fields. (some pretty photo ops)
Steps up to the room are a bit narrow but not to a point where it caused an issue. Could hear some main road noise but got used to it over time.

I was made very welcome on arrival and shown everything I needed to know. Apart from the building works going on the facilities were very good. Extra towels, pillows, tea bags and milk were provided immediately on request.
The only downside was not being able to sit in the conservatory or beside the river due to the building works but once they are finished it will be ok and a big improvement.

My wife cleans peoples homes as a living and picked up on, that the shower doors and taps weren’t cleaned properly but we couldn’t fault anything else, we will stay there again.

No Food, as this was down to new owners taking it over, but was told that it was in the process of being sorted out, premises also needs a refurb.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Really cute hotel located right on the river. Only a shame it was so close to the main road. But didn't affect us.
The room was so hot! The radiator was stuck on as it seemed the thermostat to turn down wasn't attached. The TV was very intermittent. And the WiFi dipped in and out a lot.
