The location is in the "tourist" zone meaning the South West beach is a 15 minutes walk, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and the local grocery store is a minute walk. The rooms are comfortable with a small sitting area on the porch. Staff is outstanding and multilingual -- always happy to organize tours, diving or transportation with lots of good tips for first time visitors to this gem of an island.

I would have preferred to be further back in the property as my cabaña was on the main road. However, this being Providencia, there is little traffic in the evening so noise is not an issue.

Price for what you get is very high. The rooms are basic, but OK. A bit dark and more the chalet-kind of interior with cold showers but cleaned every day. There is no wifi and the ‘sunset terrace’ displayed in the pictures is never open. Breakfast is basic as well: eggs, toasts and a small fruitcup. If you don’t eat eggs like me you just get the small fruitcup and toast. Restaurant was always deserted for lunch and evening shift, and so was reception most of the time. If you want to hire a scooter it’s better to go down the road as they give you better prices. Our last night we discovered a mouse in our bed while we were sleeping and the staff barely reacted to this and didn’t offer any explanation or compensation. Customer service is pretty bad here and not in a ‘tranquillo-island-vibe’ kinda way, food and accomodation is mediocre so you can definitely find more worth for your money closeby.

The area was amazing, cosy, the staff was helpful at all times, the room amazing and the bed very comfortable.

The water of the pool did not seem super clean

Good breakfast included. Nice sunset terrace with bar and restaurant. Probably one of the best places to stay on the island if not the best.

The island doesn't offer a wide variety of cuisine. If you don't eat fish, don't go to this island. No hot water is available on the island. Must drive scooter or pay for very expensive 4X4 around $70 per day.
