Cheaper accomodation with all the essentials needed. Nice staff. Quiet and comfortable.
Slightly overpriced considering facilities and proximity to lifts. Weird that you pay for sheets?

cheap, great location for price.
you get what you pay for.

No ski in ski out as told. Had to walk every day instead of skiing to a piste.
Ski in ski out was only for professionals. You have to go through a very steep dangerous forest. Not recommended

Comfortable appartement, very beautiful view on the ski station of Cervinia. Possibility to start directly at ski to join the Black slopes of Cielo Alto.
Comfortable beds. Very clean appartement. Easy luggage transport directly into the building. Free parking spaces nearby.
The concierge gave us good advice for ski rental and restaurants. He even nicely let us borrow his personal equipment to do a ´raclette’ dinner!
It’s best with a car to go at the heart of the village (very short 5mn drive).
We recommend !
Quite basic kitchen equipment. Definitely enough to cook a good pasta dinner, and for breakfasts but not really to cook full dinners for 5-6. We mixed pasta home cooking dinners with restaurants.

At first, the location seemed problematic being some way out of town up a steep hill (20-30 minute walk). However you can skin out and in from a nearby slope- just 5 minutes away where there are a couple of great, straightforward restaurants, one of which sells some groceries and fresh bread. There is also a ski shop, where you can buy a lift pass, rent gear and get your skis serviced. The bus service in and out of town is a little erratic and last bus is approximately 20.30, so not great if you fancy a night out. The only way back is taxi, which are variable or walking.
The standards of the 2 bedroom studios varied in standards. We had a studio that was spacious, clean and recently decorated whereas friends had studios (at the same price) that were smaller and a bit jaded. The 5 bedroom apartment was a challenge even for budget ski accommodation..

Clean apartment, can ski down fairly close to gondola with a bit of walking on both sides. Shuttle bus available too. Friendly staff. All in all great spot for sleeping and storing gear 👍

I had noticed some negative reviews before posting, so I would like to share that I was happy with my experience, the place reminded me of my childhood, it looks like nothing here has changed here since 30 years, it might not be for everyone, but we loved it, perfect if you like a simple old fashioned place to crash after a long day on the slopes, the lower price compared to the other more modern or centrally located hotels in Cervinia is fair
our only disappointment was the lack of any view from our window, the building is positioned with a wonderful view on the Matterhorn but our window was on the other side

Good location, nice bed.
Someone was definitelly smoking a lot in the room before us. We could not get ride of cigarette smell during the whole stay. Everything is pretty old.

Our bedroom has a great view of the mountains!!!
The bed was comfortable, and everything worked even though the room was dated.
So, if you are going skiing, it is a good place to stay.
There is a bus from Cielo Alto, where the hotel is, to the centre of Cervinia or you could walk, it takes about 15 minutes.
The Hotel wants to charge the guest €15 for bedding and towels.

Great views of matterhorn. .
Apartment - has all the basic necessities - running hot water, fridge, cooker (though small).
Bedding, towels provided at a cost. Comfortable and clean.
Lots of storage inside apartment. Lockers for storing ski equipment downstairs.
Finally, Nicola is a gem. My son injured his leg and couldn't ski. Nicola kindly took us down to Breuil Cervinia and collected us for ease of transfer for the day. Went over and beyond what he needed to. Thanks again Nicola.
Location of property - a fair walk down to Brueil Cervinia. There is a shuttle bus that can take people down for €1pp. But you can't go back and forth in the course of the day. Downhill going down to ski but uphill back, tough walking back with ski shoes in hand/on. It's not ski in, ski out. Definitely not with young kids. There is a red slope ski in 5-10 min walk from property but it's quite steep.
Kitchen is very small, so only plan to cook basic food. Cutlery and plates, bowls needed rewashing before use.
Beds are single and need attaching to make a double so not very comfortable to sleep on as a double but fine as singles.

a phenomenal place and location for our family ski vacation. fantastic

The quiet location by the woods is a plus if you don't have apres-ski aspirations. I liked the ski-in/ski-out opportunity once I found out the paths, which is not so easy. The studio is cosy, warm, well-equipped.
The road leading up to Cieloalto is bumpy, the asphalt is partially broken. The connection to the main skiing area (the Plan Maison cableways or the Cretaz chairlift) once you descend the Cieloalto slope (in the morning) is a bit awkward, especially the finish section by the main road. Be prepared for a 5-minute walk uphill or an 8-minute downhill/flat combo. The authorities in Cervinia should find a solution to connect Cieloalto to the rest of the beautiful skiing area in this direction. The return direction (in the afternoon) is fine. Slope #13 takes you back, plus a path through the woods to the residence doorstep, if you find the path (not marked).
The electrical stove in the kitchen is slow.

Decent location, friendly staff, good value, very nice view
Ski-in and -out was questionable, power plugs didn't all work, not very clean, blankets had been sprayed with some horrendous spray that stopped us from sleeping, heaters could not be regulated

The appartement has a balcony with a great view on the mountain , situated in a calm location up the hill from the center. There is locker for the skis . There is a bus stop is in front which is practical to get to the main ski lift and the center of the village (about 10 minutes drive). Sufficient parking available in front and next to the residence.
The staff at the reception is friendly and speaks some English .
The residence is dated from the 70’s and little changed since. The electricity installation doesn’t seem to be at the latest norms. The small kitchenette has the basic equipment but I would appreciate to have a microwave ( there is no oven) and a kettle. You need to pay extra for bed linen and towels . Average confort of sleeping (bed is a convertible, pillows are flat, no duvet cover)
In the village the shops are closed during lunch time for few hours . Also the bus service stops in the same time.
The roads in the village are in a very bad condition and quite dirty.

Affordable, comfortable, clean
Too far from the main centre and lifts (the 100m from a lift refers only to a lift to a black run). not ski in ski out, required a lot of walking with skis. kitchen had very basic equipment, no kettle or microwave.

The staff and closer to the lanes
It was so dirty

I like ski :)
I like my family and my friends.
Connection between Cervinia and Valtournenche must be better.
8 euro for person one side - it is very expensive.

Easy to arrive to the gondola and pretty nice view from front.
Type of double bed ( couch )

Great views if facing Cervinia
Lovely and helpful staff
Easy parking - but that should be a given. Tips drive to mountain early and you can park close - in lot by supermarket.
Ski in ski out? - Yeah if you can ski trees and count a 5-10 minute walk at the end of the slope along a road and through the village to the lift.
Close to ski lift - sure if you want to ski the two un-connected black runs off CieloAlto double all day - which might not be a bad idea on fresh powder days to be fair.
Kitchenette? - yupp, if you call two electric burners, a sink and a fridge a kitchenette? More of a wet bar with burners.
Hands down the saddest hallways I’ve ver seen in a hotel - including my backpacking days. I’ve seen prison blocks in movies with more natural daylight and nicer light fixtures.
It’s just a 1960 relic in need of a major facelift and refit of a 10 ton wrecking ball and rebuild. For the price I could not recommended.
