Perfect place to take the ferry on the next day, receptionist Jose (i think was his name),gave me a lot of information about surroundings and where to eat,he even knows about cars and helped me

A solo traveller with bicycle. The man at reception was very friendly even though he didn't speak English we understood each other with a bit of head shaking and Google translate,! He allowed me to put my bicycle in Room 102 on the ground floor next to reception. The room had 2 single beds and a bathroom with air con which was adequate for a nightstop. The room was very clean. It's location is very close to bars, cafe and a few restaurants.

The room was next to reception so some people may find it a bit noisy as people come and go

We travelled with our 2 year old son and the hostel gave us smokers room! when we got in, the smell of cigarettes was so strong that we could feel our throat itch immediately. when we asked to change the room, the man at the reception told us they were fully booked and no rooms were available. To us it is pretty obvious not to give a smokers room to family travelling with a baby, but the receptionist told us that we should have specified it (we didnt even know it was still legal to smoke in hotel rooms)! At the end we had to ask for refund and leave the hostel-worked out even better as we found a 4star hotel with breakfast included for only 4 euros more! But it was pretty stressful finding a place to sleep at 7pm…

It is called a hostel so we didn´t expect much but it was better than a lot of hotels we have been to and great value for money. Very clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly.

The only beer for sale in the fridge is Cruzcampo, maybe they could have a better selection.
