Our stay at the Castello was excellent. The view on Palinuros coastline is amazing, especially during the sunset hours. The Castello is situated lonely on a hill surrounded by a beautiful landscape and cows. The hosts were super friendly and made one of the best breakfasts we had in a while. Moreover they gave us recommendations for tours and restaurants.

The view to the sea and the peacefull place where you really get to rest and recover yourself during vacations. Also the Host Vincenzo is very kind and always making your stay even better. I will defitnely come back again.

If you have the chance to stay there for some time, take it. It is the perfect place to stay. The building itself is an incredible experience to stay in. It also is in a wonderful location with great hosts, a wonderful terace for breakfast and the most beautyful towns and beaches to visit nearby. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The town itself is only a few minutes by feet and that although the castle is located in a completely quiet area. One of the best restaurants in the region, Flamengo is also just a ten minutes walk(!) away. It was a most wonderful time we had there.

A stay at the Castello is worth every penny for the view alone - we loved having breakfast under the vines looking out over the peninsula. Vincenzo and all the staff are extremely kind and accommodating, going the extra mile to recommend and book restaurants, help order a pizza, take care of laundry etc. Breakfast is outstanding, everything kept spotlessly clean, and we loved the individual touches in the room and property as a whole.

The drive up and down to the castle is a little adventurous, but worth it to stay in such a location.

Loved everything, especially the view, it was absolutely exceptional. The owners were super nice and accommodating, (including the 3 very friendly cats). Very quiet and peaceful area, and a short drive / walk to the nearest small town which was also very cute. Parking was available on site. The grounds are very well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere you look. Would definitely come back here again.

The hotel was isolated up in the hills but still close to a lot of towns and tourist areas. The views were breathtaking, service was great and the breakfast served in the garden was one of the nicest experiences in a long time.

The hotel was near perfect. The bed mattress was quite thin but apart from that, it was an incredible experience.

Excellent location with an amazing panoramic view. The owner, Vincenzo, is super nice and can give you amazing tips about the region. I highly recommend this castle.

Only weakness: rooms are not soundproof
