Beds are very confortable.

The hostel part has no sound proof at all, could her everything. At all is ok, but would rather pay a bit more and stay in the hotel renewed part itself than the hostal part. I was not expecting surch a diference.

The beds were big and comfortable enough. Also, it was lovely having access to the SPA. The staff was very kind and always happy to help. Landscapes and walking routes are stunning. Easy to park around for free.

The bathroom wasn't very comfortable, but it was clean. The shower tap had like a leak and the whole bathroom floor was wet after showering. Also, there is no air con and it was way too hot over night.

Spa

Everything clean. Location being of easy access. In the center and walking distance from restaurants. Quiet enough. There is a space for kids to play. The room temperature was nice.

The family room given to us was located at the end of a dark corridor and when carrying a child, the steps in the dark might be dangerous. The room was outdated and basic. The TV was tiny. Spa was also basic and kids pool could be warmer.

The village

The premium apartment is an standard space, but with a premium price

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are easy to use and the gym was always free and quiet. The town is nice and has some lovely walks on its doorstep. It's a great location for getting to Espot and the mountain walks in Aigüestortes too. The towels were changed every day and the room cleaned daily. Lots of easy, free parking in the area. When you time it right, the spa / sauna area is very relaxing and a great way to unwind after a long walk in the mountains.

The room was left unlocked by the cleaners on one occasion. The water in the main pool in the spa wasn't always very clean and if you want to have a relaxing experience then it's better to book after 7pm or first thing in the morning because at most other times of the day, we found that it was more like a family swimming pool with kids jumping and screaming. However, the staff are helpful in telling you when it is less likely to be busy. We were there during COVID restrictions and we were only able to eat in the restaurant of the hotel in the evening. The set-menu is 18 Euros and, in our experience, is a little over-priced for the quality and variety of food on offer. As far as atmosphere goes, it was mostly the staffs' children playing, crying and running in and out of the kitchen area (which, if there had been music or anything else happening to distract from it, wouldn't have been so bad, but it was very much like a kindergarten and in no way relaxing). We were there early, however. If you were to go later (at 10pm or so) this may not be the case.

Spa was great! We loved it! Big 10!

Sorry but the beds were awful. We were couple on two singles beds that were not tied together so that they would not break apart..it was not comfortable for night activities 🙆‍♂️
