fantastic location. lovely balcony which caught sun all day. it was in the best location for all the sights/bars/restaurants.

it was all perfect

Gorgeous place at the heart of the old town of Funchal. We stayed there for four days in June. Didn't have a rental car and it was not necessary as everything can be reached on foot or with Taxi or Bolt. You can hear music from Fado restaurants nearby and also a parrot that whistles in the neighborhood. The best dining places and a Mercado are just 3 min from the apartment. Very nice place. Highly recommended!

- one outlet in one of the two bedrooms needs to be fixed - the doors to the balconies don’t work properly - some lights in the hallway are broken - the drain of the shower is almost blocked so the water can not run off properly

Perfect location in the old town, next to fantastic restaurants, small beach and a Fado bar. Despite a serious delay for our flight, the host was very accommodating and understanding

Just the beds need an upgrade

Fantastic property right in the centre of Old Town, conveniently close to some good Restaurants and Bars. Lots of amenities within the property, good size Bathroom and a lovely balcony.

Overall, the property is excellent, just that the beds could do with an update as the floor is softer than the mattresses. As we were staying over Christmas and New-Year, maybe some decorations?

In the middle of the centre, free parking, terrace, excellent matrasses. Soap for the dishwasher and washing machine.

The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped (washing machine, iron, dishwasher), with good WiFi and good shower. It is located in the centre of old town within walking distance to bars and restaurants (we recommend Taberna Madeira restaurant). There are three balconies with the main one overlooking the old town and the hills. Cable car is within few minutes away, definitely worth a trip to Monte gardens. The host has welcoming and gave us contact details of a local tour guide and we enjoyed a couple of fantastic trips with him. Famous market is just minutes away, great for a visit, but much better value to buy fruits from supermarket (big Pingo Doce supermarket opposite the Mercado dos Lavradores ) or street vendors.

The double bed could be more comfortable. The apartment was very noisy, as located in the busy area. Cars and motorcycles passing by make lots of noise all through the night.
