A historic, spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with an interesting and eclectic mix of furniture and fittings - an absolute delight. Very convenient for the city and ferries. A lovely terrace with views over the city and out to Sliema. Claus was very welcoming and helpful. We had a great stay and would love to return.

The apartment was truly amazing; spacious, furnished with great care, located in a quiet yet central part of the Old City and with fine views of the sea from the pleasant roof terrace. Claus, the owner, was most helpful and friendly and provided everything we could need. We travel a lot, and can recommend this apartment as one of the best we have stayed in for a long time.

Very conveniently located. More room than we needed. Access via staircase could be a problem for the elderly. Had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Rooftop terrace perfect for evenings.

Wonderful stay in Valletta.

The apartment is a wonderful place full of character. What fun to sleep where a Knight of St. John once slept. Great location close to everything but far enough away to be really peaceful and quiet

What a gem! This place was built by the Knights of St. John centuries ago, with stone walls, marble tile floors, a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, and a fantastic rooftop terrace where we enjoyed beautiful views of Valletta, the harbor and Sliema. We moved to this property in Valletta after two weeks in Senglea, and we really loved the energy and vibe of Valletta - very enjoyable place and easy to get to Sliema or Three Cities by ferry. The ferries leave every half hour and it's about a 5 minute walk to the Sliema ferry and less than 15 minutes to walk to the Three Cities ferry. Also the fast ferry to Gozo is nearby in Valletta, but we didn't go to Gozo due to lack of time. There is also a bus station less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can get to almost anywhere on the island and take tour buses. The apartment was very comfortable and enjoyable to stay - we really didn't want to leave! The hosts Claus and Joseph were very helpful and friendly, and communication was really excellent! I very highly recommend this place, and plan to book it again when I return to Malta in the spring!

Hinzu kommt die zauberhafte Aussicht von der Terrasse, die wir morgens beim Frühstück und abends bei einem Glas Wein zum Ausklang des Tages besonders genossen haben. Wir werden uns daher noch lange an die schönen 17 Tage im August und September 2019 erinnern und können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here. The location was great. Our host, Claus was very pleasant and helpful. The property was clean and had a wonderful deck with a nice view as well as beautiful, authentic furnishings. The apartment was very spacious and really had an old world appeal. The master bedroom particularly had beautiful stone walls as well as gorgeous wooden beams. The rest of the place followed suit and yet the bathrooms were beautifully updated and the kitchen very functional. We were appreciative of the easy to operate washing machine which came in very handy given it was very hot temps and we were constantly having to wash our clothes after our day excursions.

Claus was amazing. He took care of us like we were his own family. The apartment was perfect and had all the conveniences for relaxation.. Everything was walking distance. He even made sure that the weather was beautiful.

We could have not asked for a better place! This apartment feels like your home away from home. Very clean, has everything you need. Location is fantastic; very close to restaurants, bus stop, and main strip of Valletta. View from the balcony was amazing. Claus arranged to have us picked up from the airport so that was a plus to not have to worry about finding the apartment on our own. Comfortable bed, hot shower with great water pressure. We will definitely stay here again.

Although the apartment is on a steep street with many steps down, it is easy to avoid having to return home that way! The apartment is only 2 flights of stairs up and the terrace only a few steps further. A better position would be hard to find- in a quiet spot in Valletta with everything close by. Valletta is the best area to stay in but we enjoyed a trip to the three cities nearby. Had 5 days and 6 nights here but could have had another day or two to get to Gozo. Malta is lovely!

This apartment provides a great base for exploring all that the fascinating city of Valletta has to offer. With five large rooms, there is plenty of space to spread out. And just off the kitchen is a large outdoor deck with spectacular city and bay views. While located on a quiet pedestrian way, there are many wonderful restaurants answer cafes just minutes away. We loved it!

The apartment is in a unique and impressive old building (lots of steps in and outside). It is very spacious and well fitted and has great roof terrace with views over the City and Sliema - Fort Tigne harbour entrance. It is in a quiet street, but easy walking distance to all of Valletta's attractions.

We had never been to Malta, and I had seen this beautiful apartment online. It exceeded our expectations. Beautifully restored, and handsomely furnished. It was difficult to leave every day to go out and sightsee. It was wonderful way to come back and relax in the spacious apartment. It has everything to make your stay special. Claus was a wonderful host, greeting us and showing us all the amenities of the space. We arrived later in the evening after dark. He was so kind as to leave we two tired travelers a bottle of wine and some sparkling water which we desperately needed. We were met at the airport by a cab that he had sent to pick us up. The driver, Josie, gave us a small tour while driving in to his place. After our kind host left, we went up on the rooftop deck, had wine and watched the lights in the city. It was spectacular, as there were fireworks being set off! Falling into a soft, comfortable bed, we got a well deserved nights sleep. We will be back to beautiful Malta, and will stay here again.

First, Malta is a fantastic place to visit. Valletta is a wonderful city and this apartment is perfectly located. Everything is in walking distance including the bus stop and ferry. Claus took excellent care of us and arranged everything from pick up to drop off at the airport. He was kind enough to send us some information in advance that well prepared us for our time here. The pictures are great but the apartment exceeded our expectations. It is very large and well equipped including internet, cable TV and movies and books. We highly recommend the place and we will be back again.

What a great stay! The owner, Claus, met us at the airport and took us to the gorgeous apartment right in historic Valletta. He even had a bottle of wine waiting for us after our long trip. The apartment is huge, and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Two bathrooms was a plus. The best part was the rooftop deck with both city and ocean views. We had breakfast out there in the morning and drinks at night. We even saw fireworks a few times from a local celebration. Note, as it was January, the apartment was a little cold. The two infrared heaters helped in the bedroom and living room though. Overall we'd highly recommend.

Really could not have asked for a better place to stay . Fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Nicely furnished , great shower , comfortable bed , close to the centre of Valletta . Claus , the owner , was very friendly and helpful. 5 Star all the way

The property was spacious and very well equipped. The master bedroom and en-suite were finished to a very high spec. There are enough steps to keep you fit and spectacular views form the large relaxing roof terrace. The air con was effectively but the apartment also has lots of windows to let the breeze in.

We could not have been happier with this property. The views are wonderful and the apartment itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner arranged our cab from the airport which was fantastic since it meant we could easily find the location without worry or stress. He even met us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. This location gets an A+ rating. It is a little slice of heaven in the middle of Valletta.
