Absolutely everything! Lisa is just the perfect host . So accommodating, friendly and couldn’t of asked for more Everything you could possibly want is all there Breakfasts were fabulous too . We will definitely be retuning The location was great .. we went out cycling each day and lots of routes to choose from

Nothing to not like perfect in every way

Beautiful building, fresh bright and clean. Lovely dining room and sitting area with tv and coffee making facilities plus a fridge. Great staff, and delicious breakfast with perfect poached eggs!!!

I have been asked by my sister and brother in law to write a review as that is too technical for them. They stayed at the Old School House for two nights in the beginning of October 2023. It is beginning to be very repetitive. As everybody else has already said, we found this B&B outstanding. The owners have thought about everything in minute detail. One cannot think of anything that they have not anticipated. Apart from that, it is absolutely spotless. The breakfast is incredibly generous. In short, a wonderful place to spend time. Last but not Lisa, Lisa is very, very friendly.

Lovely clean room and facilities, easy off road parking. Communal lounge area with drink making facilities, fridge and microwave and smart TV. TV and kettle etc also in room.

Everything. The ease, the comfort, the facilities. The little touches in the room. Fluffy towels, comfy bed, the booklet on what to do and where to go. Was all great.

This was a very last minute stay and we only had a couple of essential overnight emergency items with us so was great to find bedside fans, USB chargers, hairdryer and a smart TV with Netflix - I was able continue watching The Crown:). Bathroom had a lovely big shower and great to find shampoo & conditioner which was a life saver for me. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk or there was a lovely conservatory which we didn't use but looked like there was everything you'd need if you were having a takeaway or had say a microwave meal to heat up. We had a great night's rest in the comfy bed with absolutely no disturbances from other guests - a very peaceful place indeed! Didn't think it could get much better but the next morning we were served a delicious freshly cooked breakfast to our order. Lisa, the owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome and noticed she was very attentive to all the guests. I did notice there were a few couples who were returning customers and I can definitely understand why. Not sure if we will ever find ourselves in that part of the world again but I know if we did we would definitely be back - this place had everything for a comfortable relaxing stay - very impressed!!!!

It stated nowhere that there would be no housekeeping and room would not be cleaned. To use COVID as an excuse in August 2023 is farfetched. For the price getting room cleaned is expected. Not a huge deal for two nights, but need to know before booking.
