Parfait !

Très belle maison, très bien placé à proximité de deux belles plages: Gros Sable (2 min à pied avec école de surf) et Bois Jolan (lagon, 10 minutes à pied). La vue est magnifique, le jardin est splendide (éclairé la nuit) et l'équipement de la maison est tout simplement parfait. Nous avons passé un séjour en famille merveilleux. Un grand merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur disponibilité et leurs recommandations.

The books and pictures make it feel like a proper home (and the Wi-Fi works well). Alain and Patricia were lovely hosts answering all our questions and providing us with a fruit bowl and cocktails! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

La villa et juste parfaite encore plus belle que sur les photos le rêve complet 🥰 Elle et très fonctionnelle tout y es de la plancha au tir bouchon je ne manquerais de rien! dans un quartier sécurisé et très clame ,quel plaisir de prendre son petit-déjeuner en paréo devant la mer et écoute les bruits des vague 😍🥰😍🥰 alain et très sympathique il prend le temps de vous faire visiter la villa vous explique tout se que vous avez besoins de savoir sur son fonctionnement. Et le petit plus la bouteille de rhum qui vous attend avec les citron vert 🥰vous avez juste à posé les valises et commencer un superbe expérience Le seul benol 🧐 être resté juste une semaine merci encore alain et j espère à bientot

Wir durften zwei wunderbare Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbringen und haben jeden Tag genossen. Für uns war es einfach nur perfekt und wir vermissen sowohl die traumhafte Insel als auch die Villa schmerzlich. Alain und Patricia waren sehr nette, hilfreiche und unaufdringliche Vermieter, die uns bei Fragen mit Rat und Tat jederzeit zur Verfügung standen. Sollten wir unser Paradies noch einmal besuchen, werden wir mit Sicherheit die Villa wieder buchen. Thank you Alain and Patricia for our wonderful vacation! You made my Mothers dream come true!

Très élégante villa merveilleusement située. Surtout parfaitement équipée et aménagée et offrant à trois couples un espace et un confort équivalent , ce qui est très rare. A mon avis la meilleure offre de l’ile Entière dans ce créneau . ...surtout ne le répétez à personne Salutation au proprio et au plaisir de le revoir

Très jolie maison avec une âme, très beau jardin, situation face à la mer exceptionnel. Un bel endroit au calme entre Ste Anne et St François. Nous étions deux couples et une personne seule, chacun sa chambre et sa salle de bain pas de gène. Je recommande cette location à tous. Très bon accueil et disponibilité des propriétaires en cas de besoin

Conveniently located between Sainte-Anne and Saint Francois with walking paths to Plage de Bois Jolan,(nice snorkeling) you can not go wrong with this choice. A leader price and bakery right down the road. Restaurants galore within an easy drive to Sainte-Anne and Saint Francois. We enjoyed Le Poivrier in Saint Francois and Koté Sud in Sainte-Anne(try the octopus appetizer). There are a couple of hotel restaurants, by the house, mango is the best, the bartender is excellent and the bar area is nice for an appetiser, Le Balaou is on the beach, the food is common, you need reservation for both and all restaurants. The pictures of the house are true and accurate. The actual view is better than the pictures. The internet works well, good connectivity in and around the house(in the hammock). A/C works wonderfully in the bedrooms. Open the house up and enjoy those trade winds all day long. Mosquito were not an issue for us. Alain & Patricia were excellent to deal with! Alain is from Bordeaux, I gave him a "wonderful" bottle of american white wine, I am sure he enjoyed it! Alain & Patricia had coffee and milk at the house for us, which was great since we arrived in the evening, merci beaucoup. If your thinking about booking a house in Guadeloupe, I would recommend this one, I think the rental price might be somewhat of a bargain, the hosts are wonderful, and the house is clean and neat with no problems. Many thanks to Alain & Patricia for sharing the house with us, it was a great vacation that my family will enjoy for the rest of our lives. Just stay away from AJ's hammocks as he has claimed both of them.

Le site est magnifique, le grand terrain est agréable et arboré, avec vue sur mer. La maison est typique et fonctionnelle, parfaite pour des vacances détente. Nous étions 3 couples, chacun dispose d'une chambre avec sdb et wc. Et le propriétaire est sympathique et disponible.

Our stay at Villa les Goelands was absolutely wonderful! The house and property were perfect especially with two young kids. WiFi was good as well. Everything you need was provided. Alain was very helpful and very nice. I would recommend this villa to everyone.

Le surf à 2 minutes à pied

Très belle villa , située dans sur un site enchanteur, avec vue sur la mer . À couper le souffle!!! C'est un endroit calme intime et reposant, tout en conservant la proximité des services. La villa est entretenue de façon impeccable et très bien équipée (literie , cuisine, etc.) Nous avons également grandement apprécié pouvoir nous rafraichir dans la jolie piscine creusée. Les propriétaires sont soucieux du bon déroulement de notre séjour. Ils ont toujours répondu rapidement à nos questions. Même avant notre départ . Les explications pour se rendre à la maison étaient trés claires et une fois sur place , ils ont pris le temps de nous suggérer quelques bons endroits à visiter . Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances et nous recommandons chaudement ce petit paradis. Nous espérons bien pouvoir y retourner . Marie et Richard du Québec

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with both the island of Guadeloupe as well as the beautiful home in which we stayed. There really is no way to describe the beauty of the place but to say that it is enchanted! The garden is lit beautifully at night and during the day, the view to the surfer's beach is extraordinary.It is possible to access this beach by footpath from the villa, continue to the beach and up the side of the hill where beautifully maintained and shaded trails await. Alain, you are a fantastic host and we look forward to seeing you again someday soon!

I spent two weeks with my family of six people at this house. It was perfect for us since it had three bedrooms with three bathrooms and a lovely view. The pool was at a convenient distance, just outside the bedrooms. The garden offered serveral places to sit and eat, sunbath or relax in the hammock. A two minute walk led to the beach (mostly rocks) that was a popular hold out for surfers. A five minute walk from that beach there was a beautiful, long beach of white sand, perfect for the daily walk. The closest stores were located just a five to ten minute drive from the house, close to the golf course. You do need to have a car if you’re staying here. The reason it doesn’t get the full five stars is because the fridge and the dishwasher broke during our stay. Luckily the landlord Alain was very anxious to make sure we had a pleasant stay, so he did his best to fix it as soon as possible. Alain also came by to clean the pool and was very fast to reply when we had any questions. Overall we’re very pleased with our stay at this villa and can very much recommend it. Christin from Sweden

We absolutely loved our stay at Alain and Patricia's home. It's an open layout, with a pool that leads out to a patio with a view of the ocean. It's only a quick 2-3 minute walk to get to a surfing beach down below. From there, it's an easy walk to some of the nicest beaches in Guadeloupe. The different towns in the area, where we did our shopping, are only a quick drive away. Alain and Patricia were also wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with a fully-cooked dinner since we were arriving late, and also gifted us a bottle of rum and wine. We can't recommend this home and Guadeloupe enough, and hope to return soon.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette très belle maison décorée avec goût et très bien située. Nous commencions notre journée par un petit déjeuner au fond du jardin avec vue ur l'océan; que demander de mieux?! et nous terminions notre journée sous la terrasse couverte au bord de la piscine entourée d'un jardin superbement éclairé. Chaque chambre possède une salle de bain avec douche, toilette et double évier, le tout très propre. Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli avec un large sourire et ils nous ont confié leur maison après nous avoir donné toutes les explications nécessaire pour un agréable séjour. Nous y retournerions . Séjour très agréable - La villa (bien équipée et agréable) est conforme à la description - Le jardin est fort appréciable et joliment éclairé la nuit). Alain, le propriétaire est sympathique. Il y a 2 plages accessibles de la villa à pied : la plage de gros sable à 1 minute de la maison et la plage de Bois Jolan (on arrive à l'extrémité la moins fréquentée de cette plage, qui est une des plus belles de Guadeloupe) à moins de 10 minutes - attention : pour se baigner, chaussures de baignade obligatoires (pour la première à cause des galets et pour la deuxième, il y a quelques oursins) . Bien située pour découvrir l'ensemble de Grande-Terre.

This was the perfect villa for our 7 night vacation of two couples travelling from the USA. If you’re looking for a place that is tastefully furnished and spacious, has charm and is close to the sea, this is it. Most importantly, Alain is very responsive and communicative, but also laid-back and thoughtful. He quickly answered all of my questions both before our trip and while we were on the island, and I know our stay was made better because of him. The kitchen has modern, full-sized appliances and is well stocked with dishes, pots, cooking utensils, as well as some essentials (spices, oil) which made it easy for us to cook for ourselves. There are Leader Price grocery stores about ten minutes in both directions for when you need to restock your rhum supply :) The house is airy and open which is wonderful, and we had zero problems with bugs entering (we did get a couple mosquito bites outside at night, but the house has a stash of bug spray!). At night and when you leave the villa, the doors and windows must be closed for safety purposes, but Alain and Patricia have made the process super simple as it’s all automated- just push a few buttons and the house is locked up! All three of the bedrooms have air-conditioning (and mosquito nets) available which made for comfortable sleeping. The lighting in and around the pool and the backyard made it a fun place to hang out at night- actually, we hung out there every night! We really appreciated the hammock and variety of places to sit and relax or eat- there’s a seating area for every occasion and it was nice to be able to come together or spread out and take space, so I think this villa would also work very well for more than four people. Plage de Gros Sable really is just a quick walk down the hill, which was such a treat though we didn’t hang out on this beach much; instead, we took Alain’s advice and took a short hike over the hill to Plage de Bois Jolan, which was sandier, shallower and calmer. The cat that stops by is such a sweetheart- we really loved having her around. We had some trouble finding the villa at night when we first arrived so I recommend really studying a map beforehand, but the location is great since it’s about halfway between Sainte-Anne and Saint-Francois. If you’re doing a wire transfer (required for the balance) for the first time, be aware that it will take a few days to clear. We hope to be back someday. Merci beaucoup, Alain et Patricia!!!

Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. Property nicely decorated and very comfortable. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Kitchen with all utensils/appliances including rice cooker and Nespresso machine. Pool and beautiful deck. Short walk to surfing beach. Located almost équidistance from St. Anne/St Françoise. Would definitely stay at property again.
