A splendid, classic Sicilian villa, with a lot of space, green, charm, and all the facilities you may need for a great holiday. It’s located strategically in Mondello (Palermo): a bit away from the beach (very quiet area, both day and night), but close enough to be able to walk to the Caribbean-like beach, get a gelato, or go to a local bar or restaurant and enjoy the unique Sicilian cuisine made of all sorts of fish-based dishes, pasta, arancini, cannoli, and so on and so forth. The villa is also walking distance to the buses connecting Mondello with downtown Palermo, so also perfect for sightseeing. Within walking distance there’s also a local baker (offering fresh croissants in the morning, little pizza’s and pasta at lunch time, and delicious bread throughout the day) and a mini market. The owner is a very gentle lady, always helpful and living just next to the property, who makes you feel welcome since your arrival. We had a great time in this property and would recommend it to my best friends.

Spacious rooms and garden. Great layout for large groups/families so that everyone has privacy. Really nice house and garden to be in. Near Mondello beach. Lovely owner and staff.

€200 damage deposit requested on arrival so be ready. Big (lovely) but noisy dogs in owner’s garden next door. Woke us up every morning! We booked the whole house as a group but beware that rooms are rented singularly so you may find you are sharing - not entirely clear in booking details.

Excellent location. The property is in great condition and has been very well looked after. Rooms are all a good size and having our own orange grove felt really luxurious. Kitchen is well appointed. We also felt like the hosts were experienced and professional; they care about their guests.

The beds are quite hard, perhaps a topper would help. Lighting is with white led bulbs which is a little glarey. This won't matter in Summer but as we were spending a week in Winter we were inside quite a lot.

Good location big room and big yard to sit there.

Francesca was very helpful and did everything I requested. Large, quiet Villa, with everything you need. It was a great place to escape from the chaos of Sicily.

When you arrive at the gate of house no. 98, you actually have to go next door and ring the bell at house no. 96. That is where the owners live. They will then come out and open the gate for you so you can drive your car in.
