Dead center of town. Short walk from train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Put us Americans at ease on our first night in Germany. Unexpectedly good restaurant. Excellent Thai food. Great breakfast options.

Bathroom a bit small but in this kind of old house buliding, I can accept it.

Very central location next to the town wall and a very short walk to the river Rhine. The beds were very comfortable. The room and shower room was very clean. Free bottles of water available at all times. Aircon in the room. Breakfast was adequate.

Our room was on the 2nd floor up two flights of quite narrow stairs. No lift available so it was quite difficult getting heavy cases up and down. The room was the smallest we have had over the last two weeks of touring and the bathroom almost too small to get into with the door closed. Although everywhere is clean the place seems a bit tired and the paintwork in our room was very chipped. The view was over the Rhine but you had to ignore the people walking on the city wall at the same level and the train tracks also right outside. Fortunately with the windows closed the train noise was not really noticeable.

It was a beautiful, charming, traditional hotel. Just what we were hoping for and we weren't disappointed.

the property was at the Rijn in the middle of the market place of the village. I asked for two beds and they gave us a double bed and a double sofa bed. at breakfast they baked eggs. t

nothing not to like about it, other than that we have to come back to try the restaurant since it was closed the day we arrived. they have js good alternatives though

Room was exceptionally nice. Perfect location in centre of town and by the town walls. Easy walk down to the Rhine. Staff very helpful. Good choices for breakfast.

We stay in this region fairly frequently and decided to try this property because of it's great location. The stay was okay. You get what you pay for.

Personally prefer a traditional German location. Little pricey for this location. Located next to the train tracks, so can be very noisy ... was not a problem for us.

The hotel is in a lovely half-timbered building. The room was very comfortable, and has a great view of the river. Although the hotel is near the train tracks, the windows blocked most of the sound and it didn’t bother us. The staff was very welcoming and the food was delicious.

This was an amazing little find. Praveen at the front desk could not have been nicer. He assisted in taking our luggage up and made sure everything was perfect. He also was a great at the charming morning breakfast. The hotel location is great and the view was awesome. Room was very big as we had three staying in the room. The space was very nice and tha bathroom was huge for Germany.

The room was very spacious and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and we very much enjoyed our evening meal at the Thai restaurant which is on site. Parking was available on the street just outside for a 4 Euro charge

We could not fault this hotel - we would highly recommend it.

The hotel is located near a train station and in front of cafés, it's really noisy at Friday night an weekend. The building is so old and crooked that you hear other people walking upstairs, I couldn't sleep till mid night because of the noise from outside or inside, you literally hear the wooden floor as people walk. This place need renovation asap. About the city Oberweesel the village. We did not search good beforehand, we thought it's a city like Cochem. But it was not. It is a good destination for hikers and biking only. It's too quiet and there is literally nothing to do,no shops open, no restaurant, no single sign of anything. So if you are not hiking of biking this village has nothing to offer,you better go to Cochem or Koblenz.
