Pool was luxurious. Four water temperatures, not overwhelmingly full of people. And the smell of the overall property was great. If they could bottle up that scent.
Breakfast buffet was amazing. But after a couple of days, it gets repetitive. Would have loved some variety but we get it. Lots of foods.

Beautiful building, cleaned regularly and staff were very attentive. We celebrated our engagement here and the staff made an effort to make our stay very special.

I loved the 24 hour access to the thermal pools, the snacks at night, pillow assortment, welcome drink and hospitality of the staff. The personal touches in the hotel are wonderful (providing us with a beach hat and a bag, plus some sparkling champagne). Breakfast was also very good, but by the 3rd morning was already tired of it. Would like to see some potatoes at breakfast vs. bread.
The room smelled like mold and was VERY musty- I highly recommend management to pause operations for a few weeks to uproot the carpet and remove it all. This is a hazard for patrons and staff as well. We also had the room at the very end, but I didn't like that there wasn't a mat outside to dry off on, you went straight to the carpet from the pool. Also, I tried to swim at night in our pool but there were so many bugs- perhaps leaving a catcher at each room for this purpose. The hotel itself seems quite old, the wooden trim at the pools seems to be decaying. The hotel is wonderful but needs a makeover. Male staff at night is not friendly and hardly acknowledged guests, even when we greeted him first.

A luxury hotel, 5 star hotel quality. Very attentive and helpful staff. Room was comfortable, well furnished, modern and clean. Being a guest at the hotel allows access to their geothermally heated pools - which are heated to 38°C - as well as the sauna and steam room. Breakfast was fantastic, good quality food and a reasonable selection, very fresh orange juice. Location was perfect to explore Furnas and the East coast. Good selection of nice restaurants close by. It is a bit on the pricier side but you definitely get more than what you pay for. Would definitely stay here again!

The Spa facilities are some of the best we have ever been too. The pools are so amazing and the naturally heated water was superb. Being able to be in an outdoor hot pool while the rain is pouring down is a once in a lifetime experience.

- Wonderful staff, they do their best to make your stay unforgettable (my room was upgraded free of charge)
- Thermal complex (3 saunas and 4 pools with diff temperature). You can put your bathrobe on and go directly from the room to the pools. NB even water is well filtered, swimming costume was slightly coloured.
- Great location (close to the lake and trails)
- Breakfast was the same all days but various
- Restaurant (tasty dishes)
Everything was perfect!
Just a proposal - for those who do not drink alcohol, the hotel compliment can be replaced with something else (e.g. plate of Açores cheeses)

Honestly the best experience I’ve had at a hotel. The spa is heavenly and the main attraction in many ways but the hotel is immaculate and the thing I will remember the most is the best staff, across the board. So helpful, friendly, welcoming, warm and wonderful. Just absolutely loved my stay.

staff hospitality is amazing, friendly, and always offering to go that extra mile for you. pools all warm despite the poor weather. spa facilities luxurious , restaurant food has a good selection and all perfectly cooked. Bar cocktails excellent visually and taste. Hotel even personalised a birthday cake ... honestly - service here is outstanding! we stayed in a few hotels across the island... Octants beats them all hands down. thankyou to all the staff! we have already recommended your hotel to future guests
literally everything was lovely ... but if I could add anything it would be to have a few more coffee capsules in the room ... having said this .. there is an out of hours coffee dispenser at reception...

Beautiful property, breathtaking in the middle of the nature! The room was perfect, with a small pool with hot water. The little details like the free local products or the speaker in the room made this stay 10 out of 10!
I wish this property was adults only. I feel that this kind of hotel isn’t for kids. The hot water pool should be a place of silence and relaxation.
