A lovely hotel on the riverside

A little small on the room. Breakfast not most choices.

Very attentive service at delicious meals. And the patronne speaks excellent English.

Friendly and efficient reception. Charming hostess who was very attentive. Restaurant excellent with high quality food and presentation plus an extensive wine list. Toiletries provided. Flat screen tv in bedroom. Parking available. English spoken.

No safety hand rail in bath/shower. Although a relatively minor feature, it would be an appropriate precautionary feature.

this was a one night stopover. Hosts helpful and friendly spoke good english. Restaurant excellent great meal. Rooms tbh a little tired and in need of some tlc but having said that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable . Small hip bath with shower which was a little dodgy getting in and out off and may have been a challenge it seemed quite a step down to get out and with the shower door folding out into the bathroom not much to grab to steady yourself.

Decor a little tired and the smallness and difficulty of the bathroom possibly a little overpriced in comparison to some of our other stays on this tour.

Easy to park, helpful staff. The restaurant was expensive compared to others we’d visited but the food was delicious. Pretty garden by the river.

Room was very small, a bit dated and the bathroom wasn’t that clean. No bar.

The backyard is fantastic! And the people working there are amazing

Good location handy to the road network and in the town. I was very pleased to have use of a good car park. Dinner excellent.

The shower over the bath was not easily accessible and there was no rubber mat to aid grip and we did not feel too safe. Our family had a room with a good shower!

The location. A very clean hotel. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was superb .

Nothing to really dislike but the hotel is a little dated in places but did not detract from a very pleasurable experience and would certainly recommend !!

There is an impeccable attention to detail. The room has extra shutters that make the room dark at night. The owners personally recommended specific spots to visit based on what we would like to do. The restaurant was nothing short of amazing, with many ingredients originating from the local area. The beds, and specifically the mattress and pillows are very comfortable.

For the car park I would recommend to reserve a spot if you have a family sized car, as it can be a little tight. I happen to have a small car, so it wasn't a problem for me. It is possible to reserve a spot, or to park in the street.
