It is a fairly classic (old) charming hotel. Kind staff. Clean and enjoyable. Obviously older (bath-)rooms, but functional and correct. A complete breakfast buffet was included with a fair fresh quality.

The bed-mattress was not perfect for me; lack of firm support (but than again, is it ever…?) The breakfast was fair, not exceptional (unfortunately)

Breakfast was amazing and the decoration was magnificent. We loved it.

The location is far from the old town and train station, but there's a bus stop nearby. Would appreciate some vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce) for breakfast.

Very friendly staff. the breakfast was amazing and we only had the basic breakfast. The open bar was also a very nice and fun addition!

Everything was very nice with this hotel, the staff is very friendly, the room was amazing big, clean, comfortable and very silent. I would definitely go again when I visit Lübeck. I even received some suggestions on what to visit!

The room and the hotel itself were perfectly clean. Breakfast was very good, especially considering the price. Also, the size and the comfort of the room met highly our expectations. Finally, the building is really nice. One can say that it has its own soul with its decoration and everything.

The bed was not really comfortable. And there can be some noises due to the scratchings of wood at night since it is an old building.

Hotel is located close to harbor in Travemünde. Facility of house is very easy to reach by car. Very kind and warm greeting by owner. Delicious breakfast is offering a good day start. Very clean room.

Late arrival was accepted by host - I found room key in a special place. Breakfast started early in the morning what was important for my travel.

All is fine. Nothing to improve honestly!

No toilet or bathroom in room. But common bathroom was clean and easy to use.

Perfect for one night stay after a long ferry trip! Great value, clean and cozy room and affordable, delicious breakfast. Free parking, rather close to Lübeck city centre.

The walls are thin, noices disturbed my sleep a bit. If you have too good imagination like me, you might find the place a bit creepy – the building was very old and there was super special decorations, reminded me a bit of scary movies. 😄

Super nice hotel, even with separate bathroom. 20 min bus ride from the Lübeck train station, 14 km to Travemünde. Good breakfast.

This was our fourth time in this cute little gem. Pretty quiet room, good bed with quality linens, lovely athmosphere, very good breakfast, easy parking. We will return again.

Hotel has nice decoration and comfy beds. The owner was really helpful and understanding. The shared bathroom was clean. Bus station is really close to hotel on motorway. And old town is not that far away. But you need to take a underground passage to cross the road if you come back from the city, , during the night it was little annoying. Hopefully I did not have any trouble with that.

Nice, clean room with an electric kettle. No problems with late check in - the key was left in a safe box with the code provided in a text message.

The house is wooden and the acoustic isolation is not perfect. Note that public transportation is limited (ca. every half an hour) and not all busses stop there.

Wonderful host experience, very friendly owner. Recommended me a great small town to visit during my second day. The entire hotel is decorated with cool sea decorations, vintage objects and motorcycles =) The location is great, very close to the city center and there are good bus connection in both directions city center & beach Travermünde. The bed was very comfortable. Both the bathrooms and toilets as well as the room were very clean. The breakfast was also very good (the only thing I was missing were some more veggies :) Would be very happy to visit it again and show it to my family and friends. Overall - a great and very affordable cosy hotel.
