Family rooms were spacious and comfortable! The rooms had a nice patio to enjoy the cool evening. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bus stop was just out the door for easy access to town. We had ample parking for a very large 8 passenger van.

Great guy in the reception, great patio to have a beer or coffee.

Breakfast could be richer, location is a bit isolated but that makes it very quiet.

Location was perfect. Close to supermarket and many parks for the children. Breakfast was very good, breakfast areas both indoors and outdoors were great. Room was very spacious - perfect for a family room. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Room was very dusty. The location of the room in the roof meant it was very hot. There was very basic and noisy air conditioning which didn’t work very well. This just needs a little modernising.

The check in process was nice and quick and the staff were very pleasant.

I wasn't able to sleep well due to other guests going in and out of the rooms, slamming doors around 3-4am. Around 6am someone was locked out of another room and consistently knocked on the door for at least 30 mins. The bed I had was soft and lumpy and the room was quite hot. I had to close my window due to noise and smoke from other guests.

Staff was super helpful and accommodating to our needs and helped is find solutions to any problem we had. the room was nice and it was very generous to let us use the confetence room for a meeting.

location not central, but it was well connected by bus. The beds were a bit uncomfortable - woke up with a stiff neck / sore back. the Wi-Fi in the room was very weak. everything else was really great.

Breakfast superb

Good value for money. Free mineral water in the room; good heating (after one turns it on), easy access to the city of Freiburg. I staid there before for a family gathering and - while the rooms were upated to a good standard - the restaurant remained unchanged

If you have trouble walking, be sure to request room in the newer part of the hotel (equipped with elevator); ground floor rooms can be noisy as guests returning late have to pass by when entering the hotel. Access to rooms in the old part of the hotel via some short but rather steep stairs. Waiting for check-in rather lenghty (>30 mins), due to a group checking in at the same time. It would have been more expedient to handle one individual check in first. Parking in the garage not possible when returning after the reception staff has left.

The price/quality ration is great. The breakfast was also very decent

Everything is a little old-looking, but that doesn't affect the comfort.
