Wow. This property is absolutely stunning! The common areas are beautiful, tranquil, and modern. The individual apartment was very spacious for two people and beautifully decorated. The two restaurants on-site serve fantastic food and drink. Breakfast was included and it was always fresh and delicious! The family that runs the hotel are genuinely kind people that we loved getting to know during our stay.

Transportation around the area is extremely limited. Without having a car of our own, it was tough to go anywhere. The hotel is close to the town center, but getting there requires walking up/down some steep hills.

Nice room with terrace just by the pool. Very beautiful garden. The dinner at restaurant in the hotel was amazing (high end prices). Very small town, not much to do there.

Rather expensive compared to other hotels in Portugal’s small towns.

Everything about the complex is lovely. The breakfast was exceptional and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. A fabulous meal in the restaurant Assador, with very attentive staff. Hope to try the Naperon on our next visit.

Brilliant stylish property, attention to detail, many amenities, the stay felt like a wellness retreat! Helpful staff and close to michelin star food (not exaggerating). It is an oasis.

Minor point: bed is way too soft. Difficult to sleep

The whole experience was wonderful: the hotel is totally integrated in the village architecture, the rooms are very comfortable and well decorated. The practicality and convenience of the small kitchen should be noted as well. The breakfast is balanced and of excellent quality without being excessive, is served by the restaurant chef that can be spotted taking care of the small vegetable garden, that he uses in his dishes. The experience, by the way, would not be completed without a dinner in the hotel restaurant Naperon.

We would be very pleased if we could take our dog with us for the stay, which unfortunately was not possible, in observance of the hotel policy :-( The weather wasn't as good as we hoped (cold nights) but that off course there was nothing the hotel could do to fix.

Every detail is amazing. The houses are lovely, fitted with everything you need (and very clean!). Decor is beautiful, very welcoming and instagramable. The view from the swimming pool is breath taking. The owners are super friendly. At last, but very important, the breakfast is great!

Our house was one of the houses that face the street and, even though it’s a quiet street, in the morning I could perfectly hear the (few) cars that passed by.

The reception, pool and breakfast are simply amazing!

We stayed at the double room with mezzanine and were deeply disappointed as there's a huge difference in the finishings when compared to the reception/pool. This was probably our mistake though as we didn't see the room photos thoroughly and the rooms without the mezzanine look a lot better. In any case, cleanliness in the room was also below average with drink stains on the kitchen counter and dust on the floor.

Service, decor, restaurants all absolutely top. Great location away from busy Algarve. Great hiking and beaches nearby. Both restaurants run by this group were superb . Breakfast also great .

Casa 44 is a little noisy as it has a road on either side. With windows open at night we could hear traffic. Not much but enough to disturb a light sleeper.

The breakfast was excellent, loved the attention to detail. My partner has allergy restrictions and they provided her with options she could eat. The facilities are amazing, the view from the pool is breathtaking, all the furniture and decoration around the pool, in the common areas is beautiful. From the eating area, which is right next to the pool, the kitchen is in plain sight so it seems we are in the backyard of some hosts and they are treating us like kings. We stayed in the rooms with pool view and it was totally worth it, the size of the room is perfect almost seems like a tiny house as it has all the amenities needed to cook or store some food in the fridge, it's perfect.

No parking and there is limited parking space in the road so it can become a long walk, possibly uphill, to the hotel.

1. Rooms not serviced every day, guest is only informed after pre payment and at check in 2. Not allowed to invite someone for breakfast even though we wanted to pay for it 3. Bar and snack service starts only after 3PM one can only have coffee until 3PM. Not at all appropriate for hot days by the pool 4. No water in the room 5. 2 coffee pods for 2 people for 2 days 6. Bath towels are not replaced one has to ask at reception for replacement towels 7. Fridges should be stocked and guest pays what he uses

Great people (staff) in an amazing boutique hotel...

It was a good House. The breakfast was breathtaking. It would cost in Germany every day minimum 20€.

The House does not have many equipments in the kitchen. The fridge is verry big.
