Happy Place

I couldn't have asked for more a more wonderful escape for four days. Everything about HTL is on-point… its peacefulness, location and stunning view…the decor and amenities… its cleanliness... everything. The room was spacious with a fantastic personal balcony. And that pool! It was perfect for just unwinding and contemplating the day’s adventures, while listening to nature’s sounds and the many birds often visiting one of the many “high timbers” around the property. I immediately felt right at home and knew Oliver and his staff were looking out for me. They even prepared the braai (“bbq”) for me so that I could have a few friends over for dinner on my last night. That being said, they managed that tricky balance between maintaining good COVID safety protocols while keeping the overall atmosphere warm, low-key and inviting extremely well.

Nothing. My only regret is that I didn’t discover it sooner.

Fantastic location with an amazing view over the city. The attention to detail in the room is exceptional - everything has been thought out. Oliver, the owner, is fantastic and exactly what you need from a host. Recommendations, friendly and such a nice guy. Thanks for your help! Breakfast was fantastic and the staff is so lovely!!! The views beautiful. We will be back for sure!!
