Breakfast was a very nice spread. Tranquility of small waterway literally in the back made for a very relaxing spot.

This is a delightful hotel operated by delightful people. The salad which accompanied the evening meal was particularly excellent.....and I forgot to tell them so. Thoughtfulness at every turn. The setting, Forbach, is picturesque.

reception of the owner is very hospitable. This couple are the most nice people I have ever met. it was clean and although it was a warm day just be opening the windows was the best airco. Breakfast fresh, complete and this combined with the hospitality of the owners. Superb.

This was our second stopover at Hotel Muhlbach. Our first was in July as a stopover on our way back to the UK from Italy. This visit, two months after was a return journey to Italy. We were not disappointed with this stopover. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. They both put lots of energy into the business to ensure the guests have a safe and enjoyable stay. The hotel is very clean and in the Covid-19 times we are living in, we felt safe. The owners also remembered that a bigger shower would be of benefit to me (because of my height) and they provided this. Highly recommended to stay.

It was all very good. Our only disappointment is that it is closed in winter, so we can't stay there when we return to the UK. We would like to stay longer during our next visit.

The best place in the whole Black Forest! We were looking for a quiet place to rest and hike for a few days away from people in nature. We chose this place because of the high review score, and soon after arriving, we understood the reason why. It is a family business run by Slava and his wife. For our entire stay, he made us feel as if we were at home. Their attention to detail was impeccable and he was simply a fantastic host! From hiking directions, to things to do in the area and suggesting a great place to dine overlooking a vineyard, we couldn´t have hoped for a better getaway! Our room was quiet, overlooking a garden with the sound of a stream in the background – what a place to relax! All COVID measures were meticulously implemented and we felt very safe. There is also sufficient parking on-site and a delicious breakfast overlooking the pine-covered mountains. A big thanks to Slava and family for making our honeymoon so special!
