Location was central and had free parking. .

Room was tiny and the electrical sockets for the kettle not functioning. The hotel didn't live up to photos on web site. Ladies public toilets dirty and poor. Breakfast was poor due to running out of bottled gas.

Beautiful location, nice staff, clean room

The staff and owners were absolutely lovely. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind, and they went out of their way on several occasions. The room was well appointed, the linens soft and fluffy. The food was delicious. Even the jasmine on the terrace was in bloom. It was all delightful.

The shower was quite small, but this is an old building, so not unexpected. We still loved our stay and would stay here again.

The room was small not enough space between bed and furniture also shower in corner of room right next to window. The hotel was very cold and room heater could have been put on for a while to take chill from room and make it more welcoming/

The food at the Cornishman was lovely, both from the evening menu and breakfast.

Be careful in Tintagel on a Sunday evening at this time of year. Many places closed and food stops at 8 p.m. Also the castle is closed on a Monday and Tuesday.

Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home straightaway. We decided to eat at the restaurant and the choice was good and I went for the vegan fish and chips which was delicious. We slept really well; the beds were really comfortable and the facilities clean and fitting to the style. The next morning, we went for breakfast and our hostess Lucy couldn't have been more adorable and helpful. I had been feeling homesick for the UK as I hadn't been 'home' for three years and she went out of her way to make sure I had a great experience and felt comfortable. I felt a little emotional and she brought me tea, extra vegan scrambled egg and gave me a hug. I can't express how much her small acts of kindness really helped me to relax and enjoy my stay. She really made staying at the Cornishman exceptional. The rest of the staff were equally lovely, but Lucy really deserves a special mention.

I genuinely can't complain about my stay here. It was just absolutely wonderful, and the staff couldn't be warmer or more helpful. No complaints here! They're doing a great job!

Free parking at the back of the inn and just a short walk to the castle. Had local beers and dinner at the inn. Friendly host.

The hotel was excellent and staff very helpful, we went to Tintagel for a wedding that was a couple of miles away and the staff even offered to drive us there . Could not fault anything. And an excellent location.

Great location and serves really good food (breakfast & dinner). The menu caters for vegetarians and vegans. Staff are wonderful and helpful. We stayed in room 7 on the 2nd floor. The room was cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable and warm, which is important after a day's hiking. The bathroom was clean and good shower temperature and pressure. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, horlicks and biscuits were provided in the room which was a lovely.

Minor criticism is that we could hear the other guests on either side of us (more so from room 6), however, this never interrupted or disturbed our sleep...and we were there for 3 nights and slept very well.
