the grounds were beautiful, the house design was so cozy and lovely, the room was spacious, a cute couple owns and runs it who were very helpful with all of our questions
essentially nothing although getting there entailed a short trip on a gravel road if that’s an issue for you. for us, manageable and very worth it to get a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the valley

Breathtaking view, excellent structure and rooms. Lili and Fernando are just amazing! I do recommend to have both breakfast and dinner. Lili runs the kitchen and her food is delicious!
Nothing. Some may say it's far from downtown. We booked because of that to live a full mountain experience.

This hotel was exceptional in every way! The aesthetics were sublime from the amazing views off expansive decks, to the soothing colors and tasteful decor, to the fragrance wafting through the entire hotel. Even the classical music brought peace and tranquility. We arrived hungry, and the innkeeper, Lily, graciously made us sandwiches, telling us all about how she and her husband had built the inn. Delightful!

Even though the hotel is lovely and the management are very nice, the room rate was excessive at $320 per night (high season) compared to similar experiences in Argentina.

Well run and professional, but also comfortable and welcoming. The owners were charming and polite, and decor smooth and appropriate. Breakfast delicious, views amazing, and the climatized pool a real treat. Covid protocols were sensible but not overwhelming, and overall it felt more like staying at a friend’s house than at a cold, impersonal hotel. We will definitely return here
Nothing - even small things like good hairdryers were provided. I rarely write reviews on booking.com (despite travelling a lot), but was genuinely impressed by Casona del Alto so have done so this time

The hotel has been designed with guests in mind, It is a large building for the number of rooms.
Lilly is a wonderful host, she is welcoming, helpful, friendly and makes sure her guests want for nothing.
The heated pool area is lovely with fantastic views, there is a sauna, small gym and jacuzzi as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas all around the building to ensure you have the sun all day.
Breakfast is all home cooked and prepared. Wifi works consistently well and there is plenty of parking.
The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe space.
If I’m pedantic the steep hill access and rough ground tests the car and driver but not enough to miss out on a wonderful stay.
