I have just returned from a 2 week trip staying at this apartment , which provided an ideal base for which to explore Fuerteventura . Whilst I was out most of the daylight hours , on my return the property was a comfortable and relaxing refuge where I could absorb the experiences of the day and cook an evening meal . The owner was easy to deal with and I would use the apartment again .

We had a lovely two week break at John’s Cotillo apartment. Very spacious and being well equipped, it made for a stress free holiday. A Great location with a mixture of holiday rentals and friendly Spanish residents. A well stocked supermarket across the road and the surfers beach a few hundred meters away. Would love to return next year.

The apartment is spacious with lovely views, in the right part of town and we enjoyed our holiday. The cleaning lady who came in unexpectedly did a brilliant job.It would be fair to say though that the apartment would benefit from a bit of diy here and there, some small updating is required which would make a difference as it is an attractive apartment.

This appartment was chousen, based on it's discription on Vrbo page. For our entire family internet was a must. Advertised as with an internet, it didnt have one. We were told to get it from the local provider. It took us thre days to get it from Coralejo, as a SIM card. Fortunately I have a call phone that taks two SIM cards. Never the less, for 20 euros we got 25 gb, that last for 5 days with our daughter online schooling and me, working on line. All together it was a mess, and we had to cut our trip short by three days. Also, the coffe maker was missing from the property, so we had to get it from the locol shop.

Das Objekt war top gepflegt, sämtliche Fragen wurden sofort beantwortet. Besonders toll war die Kulanz in der Coronasituation, wir hätten bis eine Woche vor Antritt des Aufenthaltes kostenlos von der Buchung zurücktreten können. Vielen Dank dafür, das haben wir auch anders erlebt. Wir sind aber dankbar, dass wir fliegen konnten und kommen gern wieder.

The apartment is great - well equipped and laid out. The downstairs patio is lovely (even better than the photo's online). There is a well stocked supermarket about 3 mins walk away, and lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. A couple of minor negatives - there was no teatowel or washing up sponge (although the rest of the kitchen was well stocked). And we were concerned how you would access the key safe if the downstairs gate was closed (but that did not happen to us). Having said that, there are loads of books and DVD's in the apartment, and everything else was great. This is a gem of a resort, we just hope it does not get over commercialised like the other resorts on the island.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and in a very convenient position in El Cotillo - close to beautiful beaches and a very useful supermarket! Parking is easy and everything you want is within walking distance. We discovered there is no WiFi but 4G coverage is good. Some fluffier towels, a spare tea towel and one or two basic kitchen supplies (eg a spare pedal bin bag,, washing up cloth and small quantity of washing up liquid) would be a welcome touch and save every visitor buying a quantity they won’t use and will leave behind. There is a great selection of DVDs which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Lovely apartment in excellent quiet location on edge of charming town. Good access to beaches and shops. Accommodation good-sized, secure and comfy with well equipped kitchen. Some fittings/furnishing in need of a little TLC. Would be happy to revisit.

Spacious 2 bed apartment in a complex that we have stayed at before. Easy to find, parking on site and keys obtained via key lock so check in very convenient. Enjoyed sitting on the upper terrace late afternoon and evenings with a glass of something fruit based watching the world go by! We self catered and all kitchen equipment is supplied...well stocked supermarket nearby, opening hours 08:30 to 21:00hrs. Plenty of restaurants nearby if you prefer to sample the local cuisine! We hired a car so that we could choose to spend our days on the beaches at the lagoons or travel to the other side of the island and enjoy the beaches south of Corralejo by the sand dunes! This apartment is in a quiet part of the island and is ideal for people that want a relaxing time away in comfort in the sunshine! The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Would recommend to friends.

Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen in der wirklich schönen und geräumigen Wohnung als dreiköpfige Familie verbracht. Die Lage, die Aufteilung und vor allen Dingen die zwei Terrassen sind wirklich eine Show. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt in einem eher kargen Komplex mit dem Namen "El Carmen", aber so günstig gelegen, dass es in der zweistöckigen Wohnung so wirkt, als wäre man in einem kleinen Häuschen ganz alleine. Man hat viel Privatheit in der Wohnung. Es ist alles sehr sauber und großzügig, insbesondere auch die Bäder. Die Duschen haben einen guten Wasserdruck. Die Ausstattung ist gut, die Küche geräumig und man hat alle Möglichkeiten, sich selbst zu versorgen. Aber die vielen kleinen Bars und Restaurants im Ort sind auch unbedingt zu empfehlen. In unserer deutschen Beschreibung stand die Angabe, dass es Internet, TV und eine Playstation gibt. Dies war nicht der Fall. Die Wohnung hatte im August 2019 keinen eigenen Internetanschluss und kein eigenes WLAN. Das TV hatte keine Programme und keine Kanäle, wohl aber einen DVD-Player und es gibt sehr viele, meist englische DVDs in der Wohnung. Wir hatten Filme auf einem Stick dabei, die wir über das TV ansehen konnten. Eine Playstation stand uns nicht zur Verfügung. Da man sich auf der Insel aber zum Großteil draußen aufhält, war das für uns sehr gut zu verkraften. Wir würden die Wohnung unbedingt für eine Aufenthalt empfehlen.

Overall very good

A lovely 2 floor apartment, with both an outside barbecue area and a private roof top terrace, it is in an ideal situation within a short walk from both the beach and the harbour restaurants. Whether it was a morning cuppa watching the sun rise or an evening beer watching the sun set, the roof top terrace provided fantastic panoramic views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. On arrival the apartment was spotlessly clean and very well presented, and will be our first choice when we return to El Cotillo again next year.

Comfortabele woning met twee fijne terrassen

This was our first visit to the Canary Islands and we was not disappointed with El Cotillo and our apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean. Both sun terraces are roomy and had fantastic views of the surrounding area. El Cotillo is very much a chill out location with a short walk to some wonderful lagoons. There's a good selection of bars and restaurants. We had excelent communication with the owner, Sheena which made our booking uncomplicated. When we return to El Cotillo we will not hesitate to book again at this apartment.
