The behavior of the proprietor was incredible. It is very close to the bus station which has connections to the nearest city Lahr. I was on a business trip due to having an appointment at the city of Lahr and considering my arrival time the owner extended the check-in hours till 11:30 PM, which is commendable since the hotels inside the city were pretty reluctant in doing so.

The room was pretty small though it was super clean and well organized.

The bathroom was not in the room. There was a common bathroom for the floor.

It is located in a nice village not far from Offenburg; there is a lake not far from it. There is a good Italian restaurant on the ground floor. We had the whole upper floor for ourselves. The price was in relation to what we got for it.

We had the room under the roof, and it was super hot. Also a bit noisy with traffic, restaurant guests and people talking in the corridor one floor below. The bath tub is okay for a bath, but not comfortable for a shower (because the ceiling is too low).

We liked the propery and location around

We had a little of a language barriers with a people working in restaurant. Manager and owner were great and friendly did they best to help us

Room was clean, provided with towels and there was an electric rolling curtain on the outside so the room was very dark at night. The bed is comfy, not too hard, not too soft.

The fireplace chimney of the restaurant goes straight through room no. 4 so this room is very, very warm. Also, the shower is broken and is not usable.
