Where do I start!? When we arrived at the automatic gate, there were quite a number of cars parked along the roadside. This was typical of the 6 days and nights we spent here. Well, they were there to photograph the most beautiful cypress treed twisting road and beautiful buildings in the most perfect setting in Toscana. And there were many many people on the hillside to watch the most incredible sunsets. The people are far away from the property and the property is very private. Our apartment was large with everything needed to spend as long as you wanted. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all perfect and spotlessly clean. Lots of hot water, dishwasher and washing machine. We had a private covered outside area with table and chairs, and a small BBQ. We sipped wine watching the sun go down. The garden area is huge and immaculately kept. The pool!!! The pool was something out of Home and Garden (as was the whole place). It is a large indoor/outdoor pool building with a huge opening doors and retractable roof with the most stunning view. Spectacular. There is a well stocked supermarket a short drive away, and lots of places for day drives and wine tasting. Sienna is approximately 45 minutes away. The owners and staff are absolutely *lovely!* They made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We highly recommend Baccoleno, we will definitely return, and soon. If there's a Heaven on Earth, I think we just found it.

What a dream!! For the last 16 years we have been coming to tuscany. I was forever looking for a location with a winding driveway lined with trees to a private getaway perched on a hill with the golden rolling hills. I love all parts of tuscany, but this area in the crete senesi is where you find the most golden hills amd is one of our favourite areas. Our apartment was spacious, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dishwasher, oven. It was very well equipped! The other guests were all respectful of each others space and it was quiet. The best part of our week was eating our dinners looking over the most spectacular view. The kids didn't want to eat dinner at a restaurant because they rather that every evening we watch the sunset over the hill. It was beautiful and very special. One day a storm past through, but since the pool is covered, the owners closed the sliding doors and it became a heated indoor pool. This was fantastic for the kids to still be able to swim and play table tennis. On the occasion we ventured out we were very nearby Montalcino and Siena. Smaller villages nearby also had simple but delicious meals. 12mins away in Asciano the supermarket is of decent size and well stocked. Finally we would like to say how warm we were welcomed and looked after by Francesca and Tonino. It is a magnificent property and we will be back! (Next time with more friends and family :)

A beatiful and quiet place to stay. A covered pool to cool down. Each appartment has its outside terrasse. A nice place in a marvelous countryside.

It was very warm, day and night.

Location is exceptional, it is a postcard of Tuscany. Of course one needs a car to drive around, it is 1-2 hs to the best of Tuscany in all directions. The apartment is gorgeous, perfect decoration, airy, spacious. I would love to go back there soon.

It is a place to relax away from the big cities, it requires some driving to do anything. So it is the place to be if looking for quiet and piece, not for the fun of the city.

5+ star stay for natural lovers. The sunset is absolutely beautiful !! The cypress trees alone the curved driveway make it so special. We also got up very early before the sunrise, to enjoy the fresh Tuscan air, and the "quietness" with only the symphony by hundreds of singing birds. Francesca is super nice. After our first dinner reserved by her, we choose to take her advice (reservation) for almost every meals during our stay. The location is so convenient as a base to explore the area. definitely worth at least 4 days there (wish we could stayed longer). Highly recommended !

my husband and I eloped on this property; not only is it absolutely beautiful, but Francesca made our stay special by getting us a cake on the day of! the rooms themselves are big, spacious, and beautiful!! the views are insanely beautiful, and the private patio was great for outdoor breakfasts/dinners. this place will always have a special place in our hearts; we hope to go back to Tuscany and stay here again, it’s the perfect Tuscan home

The location is breathtaking. It's It's everything that you imagine Tuscany to be. The road to the property makes you pinch yourself to be sure you are there. Even though the weather was cold we had enough to do around Asciano and Siena and the rooms were cozy enough to feel comfortable. The owner is very friendful and helpful and even if the english is not that good we've managed to communicate well enough to get along and resolve all the details.

Not a complain, but please do take note of the additional taxes that are involved(heating, cleaning, etc) so that you will not be taken by surprise at check-out.

Amazing location

We really loved our stay at Baccoleno. The hosts were kind and helpful. The apartment was spotless and nicely decorated, spacious and bright. The view of the fields around the property is superb. We enjoyed our time there, relaxing under our private gazebo or swimming at the pool. The location is also optimal, great starting point to explore the area and nearby towns. I would definitely recommend this place.

The apartament needs a refreshment. Washing machine and dishwasher were barely working.

- Great location, scenery - large traditional furnished rooms - private domain - although all rooms were occupied everyone had his own private terrace - private parking area - good working airco unit kept the apartment cool also in temperatures above 35C - and many more…

If there would be one thing to improve it would be to have some more plates, glasses and other kitchenware available in the apartment.

Two minor things: - sometimes unstable WIFI, especially in the evenings (but still streaming possible) - "waving" water pressure under shower and both bathroom and kitchen sinks (but no issues with hot water); we got used to it after one day so definatelly not a deal breaker :-)

We spent a great time in Agroturismo Baccoleno. If you are looking for peace and quiet place Agroturismo Baccoleno is the best choice. You can chillout by the pool or admire a beautiful view for Tuscany. Apartments are big, clean and well equipped. Highly reccomend!

Beautiful place on top of a hill overlooking the countryside of Tuscany. Tip: walk up the road to the gate with sunrise or sunset.

Indoor swimming pool was to cold for my son (1,5 years old).

If you love nature, you are going to love this place! A wonderful location, amazing landscapes and an amazing Host that makes you feel home. The apartment was cozy and very well equipped and there is a lovely swimming pool. The best place you can stay at in the whole area ! A true piece of paradise ! Highly recommended!
