An almost fatal accident happened to me during my stay, whereby the humid and badly constructed roof of a bedroom fell on me while sleeping, and of which I could only be rescued after 15 minutes while being in shock. I was seriously hit by parts of the ceiling and brought to medical emergency and diagnosed with serious shock and backpain, which today after almost two weeks is still present, and has wasted my whole vacation. I still suffer from daily nightmares from it. Whereas the owners initially committed to take their natural responsibility as owners to compensate for the lost vacation and damage by repaying the cost of the rent and the damaged goods, they changed position after we left and transferred any compensation to a possible insurance without any further commitment from their side, so far, and without allowing for further communication. We hope they change their position in this as this attitude is most unfair.

The studio apartment is large and nicely decorated. It also had direct access to the pool. There is a beautiful view of nature from the pool. The kitchen was stocked with basic spices and a paper towel. The owners are friendly and quick to respond to messages. There is a private parking.

There could be a little more dishes. The shower was leaking so he was quite wet in the bathroom. It is far from the sea.

Amazing location, hosts and rooms. You have all the conditions that you would want for a stay there. The hosts are very welcoming, easy to reach and they like to go out of their way to satisfy you (for example they even offered us an upgraded room without any additional costs). The sunset views at this place are unforgetable and the pool area looks stunning.

Although not surprising for a rural turism accomodation, there are very few options for eating and shopping nearby, but the host did provide us with indications and tips about where to go, so nothing to reproach them, it is just something that guests should take in mind. The entry to the parking and the parking spots are a bit tight to get in, so extra care should be taken

A place where you can rest away from it all. Very clean and impeccable bedding. Functional apartment with everything you need for cooking and eating in terms of utensils. For salted meats, herbs etc, you will have to buy at the supermarket. Swiming pool is a plus.

Unfortunataly bad luck with the weather, but nothing to do with the owner ;-) Other holidaymakers who do not respect the parking spaces and take possession of the swimming pool.

The pool is fantastic - beautiful views and sun loungers for sunbathing. The accommodation itself is average - a bit dark and basic, but had everything we needed. The microwave broke when we were there and the owners were fab and replaced it within 30 mins.

Not the fault of the owners, but when we were there a large group of people (not all staying at the property) were up partying by the pool area/ bbq area until early hours of the morning so was a bit noisy.

The space was perfect. We even ended up staying at an annex bigger than expected, with its own tiny kitchen and direct access to the pool. They were extremely friendly and extra caring, allowing us to do the check in 3h prior due to the weather conditions

I liked that there was a kitchenette and the room was quite unique with a tall ceiling and rural decors.

I wish there was a message that you need to call the host upon arrival as they are not living there.

Hotel was very nice, the building is very climatic and there is a lot of room to use (separate kitchen, living room available, pool). It was very quiet and clean. We had everything we wanted. Owners were really nice and showed us the facility! I recommend the stay!

There is no breakfast included so you need to remember to buy something along the way as we couldn't find any shop near by. This is not really comment for the hotel itself, rather for visitors.

Very little communication with the hosts. No information whatsoever on the area or recommendations. Extremely basic room, not even bedside lamps or light switch near the bed. no working sockets near the bed. Only one very small window. the kitchen was very poorly equipped, didn't even have cutting knives, nor towels and the hosts didn't provide any basics like olive oil or salt.

nice clean, spacious, pool with a view... we really enjoyed our stay here, host was generous when making up for a mistaken arrival! pool is awesome for a late night or morning swim.

there was an misunderstanding and room wasnt ready for agreed time , BUT we got discount and better room afterwards so honest mistake can happen, no hard feelings. Instructions could be clearer and self checkin (vie code at door) would be nice, kitchen could have more equipment

Our room was actually a whole building on its own, it was spacious and modern, great access to the pool and the barbeque. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Location is very rural, but this is what I searched for. No Ponta Delgada hustle and bustle. Amazing pool and accommodation was an old barn (I think) transformed into a little home with small bathroom, kitchenette/bar and lounge area. Perfect to unwind after a long day of driving around the island. Close to the town of Nordeste.

Host wasn't the most greeting person ever, but okay. No shower gel in the bathroom. During my stay a group of loud students took over the place screaming, yelling and playing loud music near the pool. Not the quiet place I was hoping for. Also no restaurants within walking distance, car is really needed to get to one.
