This place has been the most beautiful and well organsised stay where I have been in all my life. Opening you curtains to and seeing this beautiful painting was on thing, but the familie who manages it are very kind, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the son of the owners: yoga. Who I did an beautiful trekking with true the rice fields.

The view was the biggest seller for me but the family that runs it was my favorite. Their son Yoga was very helpful with anything I needed. He was also my local guide/driver. Very safe driver so if you need help getting around. The rice paddy’s were right outside the property if you wanted to walk around, plus there was a river close by that helped stay cool. The room I chose overlooked the mountains and rice fields, it had a huge shower, a vanity, plenty of space for luggage. And my favorite, slippers for walking around the room.

The view from my terrace was amazing, really lovely. Watched the sunrise and the sunset the 3 days I was there, it was magical! The room was very comfortable, very clean, but being right next to a field, it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. It was super quiet, other than birds and gekos, you couldn't hear anything. You could really relax and unwind after a long day sightseeing. The staff were super helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough to look after me. There was plently of room for my bags and the bathroom was enormous. Nice to have a bit of room to spread out. If you would like food, they can prepare you simple meals at the hotel, handy if you don't want to go out again looking for food. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I'd stay here again!

Todo. Las vistas al Monte Agung son impresionantes, ver amanecer desde la cama con vistas al Monte fue muy bonito. La atención desde que entras por la puerta es inmejorable, hacen todo lo posible para que tu estancia sea perfecta. Queríamos quedarnos dos días más pero estaba completo. Realmente te hacen sentir como uno más de la familia. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

Family-run guesthouse with an amazing view over the rice fields! Very typical experience within a small neighborhood of Sidemen. We loved every part of it and even had the chance to see a ceremony at the local temple!

The guesthouse serves food and there’s a delicious warung nearby, but be aware that the center of Sidemen is far to walk to. Luckily the guesthouse rents scooters and/or can organize a taxi for excursions.

Beautiful views from the terrace of the rice terraces, farmland and, of course, Gunung Agung. Only a one night stay unfortunately as we arrived in Sidemen a day earlier than planned. Fortunate to have had this property available and would highly recommend. Food also very good. On the quieter side of the valley but the better for it.

What could there be?

Don't hesitate, book this beautiful homestay. The view is outstanding and the room is very comfortable. Lovely people working there too!

Cozy spacious room, clean toilet, perfect location in quiet area and amazing view from terrace. Owner and his family are super friendly and helpful. Definitely deserve to stay there again!

Totally no complains

We started our trip here and it couldn’t have been better.. the view was amazing, the big terrace and water point a huge plus, the room was good, the family is so kind, the food they prepared was good, honestly the best stay.

The food is really amazing, the place is quiet and calm. View on the ricefields and the hosts were amazing !!

Located in tranquil sidemen right in some rice fields. Service is helpful but unobtrusive. Each room has a spacious terrace to eat/drink/relax and soak in the ambience.

This is just a note, not what could have been better: unless you have motorbike/bike/taxi, it will be about 10-15 minute walk to "town" or similar places. But the relative isolation is the charm of the place...

The room was fantastic with a very comfy bed and very clean. The views from the balcony were stunning, and the family were so lovely and always willing to help as well as making very cheap food that’s the best we had in Bali! Can’t recommend it enough fantastic stay! The best place we stayed in our 2 months travelling Asia.

Sidemen is generally a quiet place however the guest house is directly at the street and you will here noise of the motor bikes passing by.

This place is an absolute gem, everything was beyond amazing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the room was really big and comfortable and the view was breathtaking. Such a wonderful, relaxing stay, this was one of the highlights of my whole trip.

Wonderful views, really nice room and bathroom and super friendly and helpful owners. we did a 2 hour hike with Gede which was really interesting. We also had a super day exploring the local area by motorbike. Great to see proper Bali with hardly any tourists at all!

It is a little remote, so having or hiring a bike will be important (we see this as a positive!)

The yoga room (request it) is magnificent. Lofty views over the ricefields and mountains from the balcony where you can spend hours observing Balinese agricultural life. The couple who own this place are great people and extremely talented and experienced silversmiths. The food is very, very good and the breakfast, generous and delicious. The room is extremely clean, quiet and spacious. Your hosts will make you comfortable, and if you are interested, share the beauty of Balinese culture with you, including directing you to any ceremonies and other events going on around. They’re good restaurants around in walking distance.

quiet village with volcano and rice field view, hostess is so warm and friendly, you can also rent a motobike and look around. btw, the food is beyond expectation.

A perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all- very peaceful with nothing around! The staff are amazing and made us food whenever we wanted and we ate on our own private terrace, it felt like such a treat🥰 Gorgeous views across the hills too. Big, comfortable room

Very away from everything but for 2 nights it was great and we had all we needed at Bukit Luah

Guesthouse run by a lovely family. The view is spectacular, you hardly want to leave your room. You can have breakfast and dinner on your balcony. The place is fairly seperated from sites, but you can have great walks in the area through the rice fields. Cousin Komang will take you anywhere for a good price. He's a good guide and nice company. All this together made this a great stay and a home away from home. Would definitely come back!

No biggie, but only payment in cash and not a lot ATM's around that provide a decent amount in one time. So take some extra money with you when you go to Sidemen. And just a tip: a relaxing chair/beanbag on the balcony would make it a little bit easier to watch the breathtaking view for hours :)

Staff were amazing and helpful throughout. great location and the view is superb! There is options for activities, also you are able to book some there for other companies Rooms are spacious and have a mosquito net

everyone was very nice and caring, we felt very welcome! the room was big and cozy, very clean and the view is amazing. We had a jewelry making session with the owner and got the chance to create our own earrings for a very fair price! very recommended!

This place in rice fields so sound of insects were always there. Be careful while you reach or drive to homestay as roads are steep in some places
