The location is really great and allows for a connection to nature. The staff were really friendly and helpfull. The hotel itself is nice and new. The rooms are well positioned with big panoramic windows and if you open the window all you hera is birds and the small river nearby.

My only suggestion is that the menu is widened to include more traditional recepies. It was ok, but as there were no other restaurants open during our stay we were a bit restricted to eating the same stuff for dinner or drive 30 min to Lovech to get some variety.

The hotel is really nice, the location is into the woods, easily accessible by car. The area is really nice. The rooms are nice size and they are good quality, they were very clean. They give bathrobes, slippers and access to a fridge/minibar. The terrace and the restaurant are really nice made, with good taste. They also have a small garden with toys for little kids to play. The staff is nice and you can easily communicate in English. The breakfast was good.

Everything was absolutely great until the hotel has given the opportunity to a group of 3-4 families with kids to party all days and nights as if it was their own hotel. They were loud and bossy around the restaurant in the morning, during the day they took all the toys for their uneducated kids to play with and the most outstanding fact was the hotel let them party with very loud music in the wine cellar, which was below the restaurant. But it didn't had a door, so you can imagine it was that loud that when we were dining I had to yell for my husband to hear me. We and the other tourists were visibly upset by this, Moreover, they let them party like that until 1 AM, I know that because I could hear the music in the room too, it was that loud. We were extremely disappointed by not only the lack of attitude or big ignorance the hotel staff had towards the rest of the tourists who booked there (not cheap rooms) to enjoy the peace and quiet that area and environment has and the "relax" they put in the name of the hotel.

The hotel has very nice and clean rooms and the food from the restaurant is very good. The staff is great, always smiling and ready to help. And, of course, the location is awesome.

Maybe some fruits at breakfast. The fact you should pay for the second coffee. In our the bathroom smelled of fried food.

We loved the location, the staff and the food were also great

The rooms had no terrace, like booking.com mentioned and you were not able to choose a view, like booking.com suggested, all the rooms had the same view. Also, the AC did not work properly, it was either too hot or too cold and the AC was very noisy.

Modern and new interior design. The food at the reaturant was one of the best.

Location, location and location. At a walking distance from the caves and waterfalls, on a pedestrian street (where the kids could ride their bycicles without fear of getting hit by cars. The cleanliness of everything (inside and outside of the hotel). The jacuzzi and hot steam bath - the kids and my wife loved it. The kitchen is fair but not memorable (except maybe for the traditional mish-mash).

On the third day of our stay a main water pipeline that was feeding the entire village broke and after 12 hours without any water we decided to leave. Without this incident, we would’ve rated Catleya the maximum scores on all criteria.
