Excellent location, close to beach, walks, town/bars/shops etc.

Access down steep flight of steps was difficult with cases, a pram and slippery due to rain. That said, we decided to leave the pram in the car during our stay and transport the baby by hand. Sorted.

The cottage was lovely, brilliant location close to pubs and beach and very cosy/comfortable. Parking was convenient. The scones, cream and jam on arrival were a lovely touch.

We would have appreciated more logs for the fire (we got 2 logs which only lasted us a few hours and we had to buy our own matches and fire-lighters). I did call to request more (and was told they’d find out if they could) but never got any and didn’t hear back. There was also no hand soap in any of the bathrooms, or any which would have been good (we didn’t want to buy a bottle of hand soap just for 2 days).

Size of the bed was a little small. There were not enough logs left to run the fire for 2 nights.

Location is excellent.

Location was ideal for me but could be challenging for some

Some of the cooking pans, especially frying pan, are worn and could do with replacing. There was no cutlery basket in the dishwasher.
