All in all it was in a great location, very good breakfast, good value for money and John is a great host.

The only thing that might have helped was a fan in the bedroom.

Very chilled out, old fashioned, home from home guest house close to all the attractions of Hermanus. We felt very relaxed staying here and John was so helpful with local knowledge and recommending places to visit. Loved the mid afternoon fruit and yoghurt delivery! Loved spending time by the pool!

For the price we wouldn’t expect anything more than what we got. Great value for money.

Entrance to the main road was a bid of a problem.

Private and Intimate Guest house with only a couple of rooms making you feel like you have the whole property to yourself! Loved the spacious room with sleeper couch for our toddler which was as comfortable as the huge main bed. 3 words that would sum up our stay: Comfort, Private, Hospitable. John was an amazing host, and you can see why he is the main driving success of the guesthouse. Walking distance to town with all the restaurants. Breakfast was good and staff were available early given we had an early checkout

The owner John was extremely helpful and provided helpful sightseeing tips for our journey. We had complimentary yoghurt, muesli and berry bowls waiting for us in our room. wifi available location was also good

John the owner went out of his way to made us feel comfortable, even after a mix-up out of his control! We were immediately upgraded! The beds are super comfortable with good linen! Even though the breakfast was simple, it was delicious!

If you are noise sensitive the main suite is not recommended! All other rooms and the second bedroom in the suite are quiet and lovely!
