Cosy hotel with excellent breakfast and restaurant. The restaurant seems to be visited from all of the area and we had difficulties in getting a table at one evening (sorted out by the staff within 30 mins, since we were hotel guests). The meat is produced by the farm, which is attached to the hotel. Staff is family friendly, but there are also many couples visiting. Pets are welcome. There is a public bus to Salzburg city centre every 30 minutes, leaving in front of the hotel (Bus No 180 - it takes 40 mins to Salzburg). We felt very welcome and will certainly visit again.

The bed was comfortable, with an abundant fresh breakfast, it was very tasty!, attentive, kind service, electric car with charging option (2-piece, 240v and 3-phase)

Ther was no problem, but for a night + breakfast, I think it was a little expensive.

Everything was wonderful, nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Great, peaceful location, free parking. Very good breakfast and restaurant.

Loved the quiet location and the way the rooms have been built. Also the breakfast was really really amazing.

There was nothing to not like. Maybe a hot water kettle in the room would be a nice addition.

Both the food and accommodations were above standard, the staff very friendly and helpful.

An incredible location in a wonderful area. The Tyrolean charm will make you immediately fall in love with this guesthouse. Very kind staff, incredibly big and beautiful room, huge bathroom as you rarely find even in 5* hotels. The breakfast is varied and very tasty and the local products bringing extra flavor. On-site parking is also a big plus. We couldn't wait to come back here. Thank you Gasthof Steinerwirt !

If you arrive later, it would be very good if the restaurant could be open later than 9:00 p.m.

It is a nice location, beautiful views and the breakfast is pretty nice.

We booked for an apartment with two double beds but ended up being one double bed and a sofa. There was no previous notification or price reduction neither.

Family room is spacious for 4 persons, very clean and in traditional style with good quality. Check in and checkout was fast. Good breakfast with freshly prepared eggs. We enjoyed the restaurant too. They serve local products and we loved the plates, cordon bleu, beef goulash, beef filet, sausage and the fresh mushrooms. Would certainly recommend it.

The ambience and location is great. The staff is really helpful and polite. I was late in reaching hotel but the lady at reception helped us with food even after the kitchen was about to close.

it was to be a 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bedroom with low ceilings where my husband kept hitting his head, the other “bedroom” was a bed out in the open next to the couch. we also thought that it should have a refrigerator with the apartment to keep some of our fruit and drinks cold.

Gasthof Steinerwirt is located on the border between Austria and Germany. It is 15 km away from Salzburg. We had an amazing apartment with 2 rooms and balcony on the 2nd floor. Breakfast has many different options. Besides ham, cheese, cereals, joghurt, juices, bakery, few types of breads, fruits, you can order eggs. Guesthouse has a nice restaurant, where we eat once and left happy with the food served (Wiener Schnitzel and Salad with chicken breast). Steinerwirt is built in the place surrounded by nature and hills. I would even say, it is a tranquil farmer piece of land, where you are not disturbed by city noise. It you like hiking, there are plenty possibilities. All personnel is very friendly and helpful. It is carefully decorated in the rooms and corridors. I liked that no one entered the room throughout our stay, since there was a sign on the door “Do not disturb”.
