the staff at the front desk were always very friendly and they spoke good English. It was also close to the port and the train station which made it easy to walk to them

there was no elevator which wasn’t a major issue for us but walking up and down the stairs every time could be tiring for others

This hotel is very conveniently located for the centre of Toulon and is only just up the road from the ferry terminal, which was important for me because I had to catch a ferry very early the next morning. It is a little old-fashioned, but the staff were all helpful and friendly, and I was provided with a quiet, very convenient room on the first floor. It was comfortable and clean, ideal for me and my dog and cat, and there was not too much carrying involved because it was near the stairs.

People need to know that there is no lift. Also, the electrical system is a little eccentric. The electricity for the room is operated from a switch by the bed, which wasn't altogether clear, and the lights in the passageways go out too quickly. More than once I was left in the dark on the stairs.

Shhhhh ! The price is like winning a jack pot! Perfect area to get around to beaches, restaurants, train, coming back to Toulon France

The location is fabulous, close to all the bus terminals that can take you to the beach. As well as being close to the city centre! The staff are very lovely!

There wasn’t a fridge or kitchenette in the room. My room was also up 3 massive flights of stairs (trouble when carrying luggage). My room (room 16) has no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so it became very humid all the time. Also, my room as right next to a church, in which the bell rang every hour from 9am - 9pm (21hrs), as well as being above a noisy pub.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, air conditioning, clean bathroom, and a comfy bed. They also held my bags before check in and after check out.

The lack of an elevator wasn't great but young travelers are well able to manage. The room was a little bit small, but I can't complain as it was better than I expected.

No lift!

I was made to pay up front, but the card machine was not working properly. Upon returning from dinner to retrieve my room key, I had to wait for the reception to return. A friend of the receptionist was seated on the couch, doing nothing. With repeated knocking and then an attempt to get the key myself, the receptionist returned and became agitated.
