Lovely and very professional staff. Really good food. Loved the burns room with our dog. The staff really make the place and I would recommend to everyone!!
At a push a dog friendly eating area inside but it’s a very nice restaurant so totally understand this. Our dog was made very welcome in other areas and even got treats from the staff!

All the staff at the Selkirk Arms were exceptional - they were warm, friendly and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The stargazing tour at the bay was incredible, with rum and hot chocolate, and the food both for dinner and breakfast was perfect. Nice varied menu, delicious meals and a beautiful place to stay. The bed was super-comfy. Couldn't rate it more highly - can't wait to go back. Thank you to everyone who works there - you work incredibly hard to provide a wonderful service.

Excellent place to stay. Warm and friendly from the reception, check-in to the room temperature. It was a freezing night in SE Scotland, but the hotel and room were warm and cosy. The evening meal was lovely and well-priced. Breakfast was amazing, and a challenge to finish it all. It was an exceptional stay. Will return.

The Selkirk Arms is centrally located meaning all parts of the town and surrounding area can be easily reached. The food is incredible - the rooms warm and comfortable - and the staff (especially William who took our breakfast order) second to none.

Lovely hotel, staff were very efficient and friendly. We stayed in room 20 which has a fabulous view over the garden. Very comfortable room with everything we needed for a relaxed weekend. Breakfast was good and lovely menu choices for the evening meal.
