The hotel was under new ownership and has a lovely quirky feel about it, The staff were really friendly as was the owner who made sure he met us. The Hotel is just on the edge of the old town and a few minutes walk from anywhere. The rooms were exceptional, Clean, good sized and lovely views, We will go back to Bayeux and we will definitely rebook this hotel

Top tier staff, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Rooms were very nice, we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a balcony suite. The breakfast was amazing as well and they will answer any questions you have about exploring the town/normandy area.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life but I have to say from the moment we arrived it felt as if we were home. The staff are the loveliest people you could hope to meet and beyond knowledgable. The hotel and the room was sublime. So tastefully decorated and warm I truly wish I could live here! Bayeux and it’s people are beautiful! We will be returning and bringing friends and family with us. Thank you for the most amazing experience, you are all truly incredible

Breakfast was fine, both in quality of food and of service. Also offered takeout to us for sightseeing trip. Staff was a pleasure to deal with. Room service both timely and immediate. Staff made restaurant suggestions and reservations
Nothing. The modern state of the hotel together with the older look of the town was well integrated. . The overall atmosphere experienced was great. Truly one of the finer hotels I experienced in my 50 plus years in business.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Lara during our time in Normandy. Everything about this hotel is excellent. We will be returning to Normandy in the future and this will be the only place that we will stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.
