We loved our stay at the Nacar hotel in Cartagena. The hotel is in a great location - we walked almost everywhere we needed to go within the walled city. The rooftop pool and bar were great. Staff were kind and helpful. Hotel breakfast is also incredible. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Es un hotel 5 estrellas uno esperaría que uno sale por la mañana y regresa a la 1 del día y cuarto estaría hecho y no era así..tuve q pedir q lo hagan y salir del cuarto x una hora xa q terminen

The location is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable.

The additional resort fee was not justified. The spa was not appealing and not well appointed. Breakfast was not included. The pool area was extremely noisy due to the bar and was partially closed due to some renovations/cleaning going on.

The suite was very large with a comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom. Great location.

It was a “smart” room which I absolutely hate. I couldn’t work out how to change the air conditioning temperature and eventually gave up. Decor very sterile and not really in keeping with style of the local area. Hotel interior looks tired and shabby around the edges. The rooftop pool was tiny and looked a little dirty. We booked at short notice and this was the only hotel left on booking.com. I suspect that this is not one of the better hotels in the Old City. I wouldn’t come here again. Very expensive for Columbia.

It’s the perfect hotel for families with kids that want to stay in the old city. Super friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, great and comfy beds. Pool is shallow and perfect for children.

The rooms were beautiful and the staff was super friendly.

The pool was not as fabulous as pictured and the location of our room was at the second location around the corner, which was kind of weird.

I loved everything about it. The room, the pool, the roof top restaurant was great, and the staff.

The hallways sometimes would get humid , but nothing that really bothered us.

Location is ideal right in old walled city. Beautiful building, great big comfortable room, excellent bed and shower, rooftop is amazing!!!!

Excellent location, in the historic centre, walking distance to the main touristic points. Hotel is new, well decorated and very well located. Room size is quite good (2 couple beds). Good and quite air conditioning. Excellent shower. Confortable beds with different pillow sizes. Several usage kits (e.g. shaving, tooth paste, seizure, etc). Offers iron and hair dryer. Rooftop with swimming pool (a little small but ok), and a good bar with cocktails and DJ music in the afternoon/night (a little too expensive though). Breakfast is very good and you can order some otther things if you like. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.

The music from the rooftop bar can be heard from the room (although it is not too loud and it does not go to long through the night).

Cleaning and support staff were nice

The hotel is run down and in poor shape. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, 4 closer to 3. I was overcharged for my stay and found out by my own account and have been trying to contact the manager in vain. The architecture is sub par.

Staff at Nacar is excellent and very helpful. Especially: Nelly in the housekeeping staff.

There was a mix-up with my dry cleaning, where the external dry cleaning service mixed up my clothing with those of another guest, However, the hotel staff fixed the situation.

I loved the location and staff. the first room we had was a complimentary upgrade which spoiled me a bit for the second room. the upgraded room has the MOST comfortable bed and pillows. loved the rooftop pool and bar as well

wasn’t thrilled about the food/drinks. it all looked pretty, but the quality wasn’t great.
