The hostel is huge and imposing amongst the millionaire houses of Streatley-on-Thames. 50yrds from a very nice pub with nice food. Reception was very good and the manager, Nick, very welcoming and helpful. It was February and I was given a six bed dorm to myself. Clean, quiet, warm. The bunk, with bedding provided, was comfortable and quiet. The room has a sink and mirror and chair. The showers and toilets are basic, but, clean, warm and work perfectly well. There is a lounge, self catering kitchen, ‘restaurant’ and garden. I hired a towel for a good price. The breakfast was very good. The hostel is 100yrds from the Thames and on the Ridgeway that I was walking. Excellent value; in February.

The place is just perfect and the location to. Everything very clean and nice. Hellen and Ian the workers of the place are very friendly and professional they help us in everything 100% recomendable

It is great to be able to get such a good value room in such a nice location - perfectly situated on both the Thames path national trail and the ridgeway national trail. The guy working there was very friendly and helpful. YHA hostels are always pretty good for cleanliness and comfort when compared with other hostels.
The only negative is that they didn't appear to be selling any drinks or food at this time. I didn't ask, but there was none on display. This was only a problem because the only small food stores in goring and streatley was a bit of a distance away. There is a self catering kitchen on site though which is good.

Easy to check in, the room was clean and spacious for a dorm room. Located to rear of property so very quiet. I'd booked for a race and was expecting it to be busy but I was the only person in the room - a very welcome surprise. Shower and toilet located near to the dorm room, both clean and shower water nice and hot. Kitchen facilities were clean and plenty of appliances. Staff that I saw were friendly and helpful. Easy 1 mile walk from the station. Located next to a very nice and reasonably priced pub.
Everything was great.
