We needed a place to stay that could accommodate 10 women 60+
This place worked out perfect. It was well stocked with dishes, glasses and towels and other items. The pool area was lovely and we never left!

Really enjoyed the property. Well stocked with dishes, cookware, and they have a Weber gas grill! The pool was great, and plenty of beach towels. The guest house, and bedrooms allowed for enough space and the house was sparkly clean. Would book here again if we have a large number of people.

A beautiful and beyond comfortable farmhouse with a lovely guest house. Everything you need is there and easy to find and use. Great for young kids. The pool has a great cover that is easy to use and water very warm from the sun. Wish we could have stayed a month!

My group of friends and I had an amazing time. The house and property exceeded my expectations from the photos. It was so charming and impeccably clean. Pam went above and beyond to accommodate us and that was incredibly appreciated. I would recommend this listing to any group. The pool and spa were lovely. The cows were a highlight! A most charming place filled with all kinds of fun things to look at! The amenities were very nice and plenty of outdoor dining space when the weather is pleasant. Very well maintained inside and out. The Highland cows were a big hit as well as the two cats that loved having attention. I would highly recommend this place for families and friends alike.

We loved staying at the farmhouse! We celebrated family birthdays, and the property was amazing! We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. It was close to a wonderful winery, several small towns, and Solvang. Everything went smoothly for check-in and check-out.

This was the second time we stayed at the property. The first time was 10 years ago. The only reason we did not go back was the family grew and when it was just the main house it was no longer large enough. When I saw they added the guest house it was now the right size for the family so we were excited to return for Thanksgiving! The yard is large for family activities and the jacuzzi was the perfect temperature for evening relaxation.
If I could give the property manager, Pam, 10 stars I would!! Great communication, quick responses just an al around great experience with Pam!

Great vintage property with tons of charm. Even the cows were friendly. The cat kept trying to sneak inside but we managed it well. Nice cat too! BTW, we fed him!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Was large enough to fit all our family members but feel like we had our space. The Backyard is to die for an absolutely was the highlight of our stay. Pam was extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. Will be staying there again if we are ever in the area.

We have shared an annual family gathering at Goodgame for many, many years and it feels more like "home" every year. The home is absolutely lovely with unique charm and more upgrades every year. The yard is inviting by day, and by night. The amenities are top-grade in every way. And Pat, the property manager, is extremely accommodating. There are numerous reasons we rent Goodgame Ranch year after year!

The perfect getaway!
Our group LOVED this adorable farmhouse! We had 11 women staying for a long weekend. There was plenty of room between the guest house and the main house. The outdoor space with the patio and pool was perfect for our group. We had plans scheduled throughout the weekend in Santa Barbara and the wine country, but we kept wishing we had scheduled more time to just hang out at the house. Many in the group loved feeding the cows :) Pam was a great host who was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

We have rented this property for many years to accommodate our annual family thanksgiving celebration. The property is pristine and the home is more lovely every year. The owners have thought of everything to make you feel right at home. And the property manager is a dream to work with! I cannot more highly recommend a memorable get-away to Goodgame Ranch.

Great spot
The rental process was great. Pam was very helpful. The house was comfortable and the perfect size for our group. My only negative is that bathrooms needed repairs/updating/ cleaning. Especially the showers/tubs. So much so that on the last day most of us chose to wait til We got back home to shower. Great location. Kids loved feeding the cows. Pool was lovely but costly to heat.

The Goodgame Ranch Definitely deals a Good Game!
My family thoroughly enjoyed and loved our time at the Goodgame Ranch! Online posted pictures are true to life, the house is amazing and has an abundance of history, character and eclectic design. Pam is excellent at timely communication and is very welcoming. The kitchen is absolutely AMAZING, fully equipped with everything needed to entertain, easily accommodated a gathering of 20 people with plenty of room to mingle! It's beautiful picturesque outdoors and landscape provides peace and tranquility...the perfect setting to unplug from city life. Lastly, when in town, the El Rancho Market is a MUST. You'll find everything you need at reasonable prices, and a five-star Deli!

We had a group of 9 friends out for the long weekend. I highly recommend staying at the GoodGame ranch - very unique property that really made our trip! Pam was fantastic to work with and was extremely helpful. The pool and spa area was our favorite - fantastic location to everything SY has to offer.

Family Reunion
The layout of the house was perfect for our family reunion. One family with four young children (1 1/2 to 8) stayed in the cottage, the other 4 adults stayed in the main house. A large green grassy area in the back of the house was perfect for the kids and adults to play soccer, volleyball, frisbee and just run around. The pool was a perfect temperature and clean, The kids enjoyed going over to see the cows. We were very close to Solvang, Ballard, and Los Olivos. Several adults enjoyed long bike rides especially along Foxen Canyon Rd Great memories were made by all.

We have rented this property for a number of years for our annual family Thanksgiving weekend. It is our favorite time of year, and favorite place to spend it. The property and the home are beautifully maintained and filled with care and love - and is refurbished and spruced up regularly. We won't hesitate to book it again.

Relaxing Cattle Ranch
The property is a beautiful change from our suburban lives. The main house is beautifully decorated with lots of antiques and paintings to admire. The kitchen has a commercial stove that a chef dreams of. The house is fully equipped with the necessary items needed including aromatherapy shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. This was a pleasant surprise. The barn was an amazing backdrop for pictures. And observing and feeding the cattle was such a joy.
There were only 3 issues we encountered with the property:
There were a few spiders and webs throughout the house. Daddy long legs which are harmless, but still a little but of a nuisance. The webs and spiders were also on the patio furniture and patio cover, which could have been cleaner. We had to take some time to clean it ourselves to relax.
The pull out couch sheets were either dirty or stained. This prompted me to check all the Linens and sheets on the other beds. They were all very clean, so there were no other issues regarding cleanliness.
Lastly, both The main house kitchen and the guesthouse kitchenette had ants after our first night. They stayed with us for the duration of our trip.
Overall we had a very relaxing and memorable stay at Goodgame Ranch. Pam was very communicative and responded promptly any time we needed her. If the ant problem is corrected, I would love to stay here again.
