We stayed for two nights at Casa Canukatan and HIGHLY recommend it!!! Mike (the owner) responded very quickly to my messages and met us with a big smile when we arrived. To say the house was perfect is an understatement - it's solidly built, very spacious, immaculate inside and out, comfy king size beds and pillows in both bedrooms, excellent wifi reception and Netflix, plus was fully equipped with everything we needed (all kitchenware, beach towels, hammocks etc). The bonus was having insulated and screen doors on both the front and back entrances, which ensured the air conditioning stayed in the house and the bugs stayed out! The sandy path to the beach was literally across the road and the outside pool area and palapa was a fabulous way to beat the heat both day and night. There's a great seafood restaurant around the corner and the town centre (with more restaurants and shops) was a quick five minute walk away. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer and will definitely book the house again. Thanks Mike, your warm hospitality was much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you again soon!!!
